Heeseung just finished his homework just in time to come to the party. As promised, he was gonna go just to show face for a little bit. He put his book down and started to get ready.
He went to the party with Jake. They were a little early than everyone in their group that arrived. Jake and him along with some Σ Κ Ζ frat bros got started with some drinks.
It didn't take long for Jay to arrive and so did a bunch of people. Of course Jake wanted them to play a game with everyone.
7 minutes in heaven.
Heeseung was not really the person to play these games since he's really not that interested in dating or hooking up. But he just played along for the night.
Heeseung was kinda of zoning out during the whole game u til something caught his attention. He tried to snap out of it just in case he was hallucinating. But of course, his eyes did not fail him. He thought he saw someone familiar walk by. Jay had already went for his turn, so he told Jake he'd be right back. He got out of his seat and started to look for someone.
YUNJIN'S POV
Yunjin was personally invited to her first frat party coming back to Korea. She didn't expect to attend her first party here on the first day of school. Yunjin always wanted to go to HU even after leaving years ago. She missed it.
She ended up coming alone by herself since didn't really had that much time to make more friends yet. She wasn't really that worried, she knows it'll come with time.
She arrived a bit early so she just took her time walking around the mansion as more people came in attendance. She walked over the pool area and saw more people crowd over. Music filled air.
She went to the the outdoor bar station near the pool to grab another seltzer from the fridge. It was this time she felt someone's gaze on her. She turns her head to see who it was. She was surprised to see it was Heeseung.
"Heeseung?" Yunjin said in utter shock.
A gentle smiled appeared on Heeseung's face. "It is you."
Yunjin still shocked didn't know what to say but just smile back.
Heeseung tired to snap out of his thoughts again. "How, how are you?" He tried to start a conversation.
She blinked also trying to focus. "I'm doing good. Wait you're attending HU?" She asked.
"Yeah, it's my second year here already." He answered. "When did you come back?" Heeseung asked keeping the conversation going.
"I actually just got back last month. I was accepted to transfer here so I took it right away." Yunjin replied.
Heeseung was still in a mix of awe and shock to see Yunjin again. It's been exactly 3 years since they last saw each other. There was so much history between the two but it seemed like they were meeting each other for the first time.
"I hope I'm not taking too much of your time but I would love to catch up with you." Yunjin started again.
Heeseung blinked at her. "N-no I don't mind, let's sit." He gestured to the patio set right next to the pool.

The two caught up the whole night. It felt like just having a conversation with a really close friend. The two had dated a long time ago but broke up due to the fact that Yunjin didn't want to do long distance relationship. This break up was really painful to Heeseung but he understood where she was coming from.
"So what made you want to attend HU?" Yunjin asked.
"HU has a really good academic program, plus my parents always wanted my to attend here." Heeseung replied.
"Oh yeah! They did didn't they. How are they?" Yunjin exclaimed.
"They're doing good."heeseung responded with a smile. He kinda just stared at Yunjin.
Yunjin giggled. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
He laughed it off shaking his head. "I don't know, you're still very pretty." He said without thinking.
Yunjin smiled and rolled her eyes. She blushed at his statement. "Still a flirt I see" she said trying to hide her smile.
"Nah, I'm just saying. You're still cute." He continued.
"Yah! Lee Heeseung, you better stop that." Yunjin was cheesing. She knew this all too well.
Heeseung licked his lips and laughed. "I'm glad you're still doing okay."
"You too." Yunjin replied while twiddling her fingers.
Suddenly they both hear the loud commotion coming from inside the house. Heeseung turned around to see what was going on. He then heard Jake's voice in the background. Both of them stood up to see what was going on.
They made their way into the house from the pool entrance and saw a crowd of people hovering over Heeseung's friends. It seemed like the situation already diffused before he could intervene.
Yunjin decided to stop following him. She didn't want to burden him for the rest of the night. He seemed like we was with his crowd. She slowly backed away and went off by herself.
Heeseung approached Sunghoon, Jake and Jay asking what they've gotten themselves into now. He assumed Yunjin was still with him but when he turned around she was nowhere to be seen.
Heeseung was a little disappointed she left without saying goodbye. Though he felt like he got a second chance somehow.
