I pinch my eyes when I come back to my senses. My body is weightless, and I'm confused. I look up, and see darkness, like rocks, maybe, then sideways and I see walls.

I'm in the air.

I try to wriggle around and realise the spell is what's keeping me still, and only my hands are tied. I strain my neck to look beneath me. "Claudia," I ask civilly and hear Soren say my name. "Can I please walk?"

She hesitates and I can only assume she's looking at Viren for permission. "(Y/n)," his cool voice drones, "will you stay silent."

I let me head fall back, utterly annoyed. "Yes," I reply through gritted teeth. And then I fall onto my back. Wheezing, I stand up and smile at Soren who waits patiently for me. "Why not escape?" I ask him in a hushed tone.

We start walking after the other three, unless you include the freaky creature, which trots next to Claudia. "Because," he tells me, "we're going to Rex Igneous."

"What!?" I say slightly louder than I'm meant to and Viren shoots me a glare. "Like, how far away is it?"

He lifts his tied hands up to where Viren and the Elf, Terry, have stopped. "I think Claudia's gonna go in first?" he informs me just as his sister begins walking through an open archway. I can't see much. Only darkness with some fiery embers that have a glow, lighting up corners. Hughes of blue can also be seen if I peer in a little further.

Viren doesn't like when I try to get a better look. He growls at me.

Like, growls.

I furrow my brows at him and step back next to a Soren. Then it occurs to me, "what if Callum and Rayla and Ezran are in there!?" I ask him quietly.

His eyes widen. "Then I hope they are prepared."

Nobody. I repeat, nobody, can be prepared for Claudia's dark magic, alongside her Ocarina.

As the four of us walk into the cave like structure, Soren and I's hands still bound, I can see our friends on the ground. Sleeping. That's when I notice the much larger unconscious figure.

Rex Igneous.

That's one dam powerful instrument.

Terry ran up to Claudia and I hear him praise her work. Viren strolls after them while a Soren and I try to assess our surroundings.

"Now," his sister announces. "We need to find that map quickly." The disgusting purple thing starts snarling agitatedly and Soren quickly backs away from it. "And quietly," Claudia scolds it. "We can't wake the dragon."

I watch as the lightbulb goes off in Soren's mind and he starts shouting. "Hey! Mr Dragon! Wake up!!" I think it's brilliant and my eyes latch onto the rock at my feet. "Time to rise and shine and eat the bad humans that are-"

Terry lengthens the vine so it becomes a gag. I continue to carefully pick up the rock, which is about my fist size. The elf looks at me suspiciously, wondering if he needs to do the same thing. So in one motion, I bring both my arms behind my head, and throw the rock towards the dragon screaming "REX!"

As my own body is consumed again by snug fitting vines, I watch the rock bounce off of his snout. Not even startling him. I fall down to my knees uncomfortably. It was worth a try.

"Sorry about this little adjustment, guys," Terry says, incredibly sincerely, to us. I look at him unimpressed.

"Don't be," Claudia reminds her boyfriend, "Soren loves salad," she adds.
