WHO ARE YOU AGAIN?
———

BLOOD PUMPING, heart pounding, head aching, lungs burning. The world beneath her feet was moving fast. She couldn't stop her head from spinning. It was like the world was working much faster than her mind could keep up with, she couldn't comprehend what had just happened, what she had just done. Couldn't comprehend that she, Maeve Greenway was standing in a grave yard. A grave yard of men who she had just slaughtered.

"What--?" A small, fearful voice broke Maeve's trance, and it was like the spinning world all came to a stop, despite her dizziness Maeve looked behind her in fear of what she already knew she was going to find.

A boy. Only a year or two older than Kai, but he was smaller. In all ways, he looked thinner and was shorter, even just the way he carried himself made him feel and look littler. Maeve choked back on words, the boy's eyes never met hers, his tired and scared eyes scanned the scene in front of him. All the death, all the blood, all that terror, and Maeve was at the centre of it all.

"Y-you did this?" His voice was broken.

Maeve stepped towards him, he was shaking in fear and in the little daylight she had she could see he was even crying. But as she only stepped a few feet he jumped back and pulled out his gun. Acting as if he was ready to shoot her, but Maeve knew he wouldn't. He couldn't. Even if he wanted to, he wasn't anything like her or the men she killed. He couldn't be able to kill her, only in his nightmares would he ever be successful.

"Stay back." He warned, voice shaky and on the verge of sobbing, "Wait-- your that girl from the other day? You followed us?!" Now he was even more scared, knowing that she was on the hunt for revenge. This wasn't random, this had meaning and a purpose. That meant she was angry. Angry enough to do this, and god knows what else.

Maeve didn't move, only gripping the handle of her machete that had blood dripping off the tip, forming a small pool between the leaves. But she threw her bow to the ground, leaving it a few feet in front of her. She could never leave herself unarmed, but she hoped he would see she was trying to appear less as a monster.

"Kid, listen" Maeve started, the sound of her own voice scared her. It was so calm for someone who just murdered about seven grown men, "You need to leave."

"I have to kill you." He stammered.

They only stared at each other for a moment, they were several feet apart but it felt she was staring at the tip of a gun, and she was wanting it to go off. She really did, but this wasn't her time. Or his.

"You aren't like them. They were bad guys." Maeve gestured to the dead men surrounding them, "I won't kill you. You won't kill me. So leave."

The boy's hands were shaking more than ever, that's when she realized he was sobbing. Silently. But, he still lowered his gun. The light hit his face even more so now that she could see the pain and fear that laced his features, he wasn't just scared, he was terrified.

"You killed them all. You're the bad guy."

That was the last thing the boy said before running off into the woods, leaving Maeve once again in a grave yard she created.

Rick had called a meeting, the adults of Alexandria gathered around and are now standing in Deanna's living room. Rory and Louis had come and gotten Elliott and Maeve, and brought them straight here with no information as to why. Maeve's initial thought was that Rick was here to talk about what happened the night before, although Maeve hadn't seen it, Rosita told her about Rick killing a man.
