HEAD HUNTING
———

THE GROUP WAS ON THE MOVE, the first part of their plan being put in motion as half of the group in the RV while the rest was split up between two cars trailing behind them. They are driving down towards the outpost when they come to a stop, pulling over on the side of the road next to a forest.

Everyone is piling out of the cars and RV, as Rick is giving instructions, "Start here. We'll peel off every quarter mile, and meet back here in a couple of hours. See what we got."

The plan was to find a walkers head that could pass as Gregory's, that's how they'll get into the outpost. They were to split off into groups, for their search. Milo saw this as his opportunity to spend some time with Rosita, of course he'll take any chance he can to be with her.

"Hello gorgeous," Milo throws his arm over her shoulders as he approached her, his hand twirling a strand of her hair around his finger as she looks up at him with a raised eyebrow. Milo asked, "Want to do some head hunting together? It's the perfect first date."

Rosita raises her hand to his and interlocks their fingers, Milo's can feel his body tense as she does. Now realizing she's never held his hand before and it was making Milo feel like a little boy, made him feel giggly and light inside. It was in moments like this that his cocky and smug act would falter, and he'd realize how truly in love with her he was.

Since Milo was too stunned to notice that she only did grabbed his hand was to lift up his arm up and off of her as she says, "Here I thought being locked in at Terminus by cannibals was our first date? Can't believe you forgot already. I'm hurt, Mi."

Milo put on an over dramatic shocked expression, throwing a hand to his heart as he pretends to be deeply offended, "Rosita Espinosa, do you really think I could forget the day I met the love of my life?"

Rosita shook her head at him as she laughed a little, she could always count on Milo to make her laugh, a genuine laugh where she forgets about all the rest of it.

"Love of your life, huh?" Rosita asked disbelieving, laughing at Milo and his flirty jokes. At least Rosita thought they were all jokes.

A small moment of laughter is shared between the two, and at one point Milo has opened his mouth to give a witty response back. When suddenly, Elliott appeared behind her out of nowhere. Catching them off guard.

"Ready, Rosita?" Elliott asked, assuming that Rosita was going to go with him. Milo shot him a dirty look, not that he disliked Elliott, but he definitely wasn't a fan of him interrupting their oh so perfect moment.

Then to Milo's surprise, Rosita nodded. Turning back to Milo with a simple sad frown as she said, "Next time, Mi. Promise." With that, she walked away, leaving Milo standing there looking dumbfounded as Rosita left with Elliott.

It was hard to watch yet another man take away Rosita, he knew he didn't possess her or have any claim to her, she is her own person and Milo just has to respect that. But he is tired of missing his chance.

"Can I ask a question?" Elliott asked as the two were now out of ear shot from the others, Rosita hummed urging him to continue, "Is the person you're in love with Abraham?"

Rosita felt her body tense, knowing the truth to that answer. Yet she couldn't bring herself to admit it so she did her best to lie, and answered, "Yeah. Obviously."
