"I am a woman, Sujata. But I don't know how to win over a man's heart."
Chitra told her in bashful manner. She was feeling suddenly ashamed of her own flutterings of the heart."Princess, you don't even know how to wear a woman's attire or jewelries. A man always look at the woman's looks. When a man will look at you what will he look at?!! An armor, belt, crown, sword and bow-arrows??!!" Sujata told her.
Chitra was thoughtful. She really did not know how to answer the question. Sujata was right. She did not know how to be a woman.
"Wear some girly expensive clothes. Use 'Kajal' (eyeliners) on the eyes. Put some 'gajra' (bunch of flowers) in your bun. Use some 'alankar'(jewelaries) on your body. You will see the diference yourself." Sujata suggested these kind of excellent suggestion.
Sujata put 'haldi' on her as a makeup. Then bathed her friend in a scented water of rose and sandalwood. She used vermilion on her forehead. She put on the jewelaries and expensive clothes on the Princess. She then put vermilion on Chitra's feet and hands. She used some flowers on her bun and adorned it with several golden hairpind. Then she put on some kajal on her big and beautiful hazel eyes.
The change was promishing. Chitra looked mesmerisizingly beautiful.
Sujata forced her to face the mirror. She told her friend "See yourself."
Chitra was in shock to see the change. Her whole personality had changed in a second!! She looked as if a new person, not like herself.
Chitra bashfully closed her face in her palms. She could never imagine her to be so pretty!!
"Rajkumari (Princess), did you see that change? Now you can go and make effort on a man." Sujata told her confidently.
Chitra flied like a butterfly to the same place where she first saw Arjuna in her forest. She did not understand one simple thing. Her attires were changed, not her manners.
She went to Arjuna directly and told him the same thing -
"Marry me. At once. Look how I have been changed for you."
Arjuna was deep in his meditation till now. He did not look at her. She tilted her head to see that he did not even flutter his eyelids. He was constantly meditating and chanting the mantra -
"Aum Namoh Bhagbade Vasudevay (I am praying to Lord Vishnu or Lord Vasudev)."
He was deep in his thought of repent but she was not understanding it. Love was a foolish thing. First love was much more foolish. She was in her love at first sight mode, but did not understand that love could not be win over, instead true love had to be bestowed on her beloved. She was hurt that Arjuna rejected her advance and her female ego was asking for revenge. She wanted to win him at any cost to get her revenge.
She came back to her kingdom and refused to eat or drink anything. Even her father became worried of her. Only her friend Sujata understood the symptoms. Her ignorant Rajkumari must have been rejected in the game of love.
