"Don't do that, my child. Stop it."

A sudden loudest outburst rang in his ears. Babrubahan lifted his tired eyes to see that a man was standing far from him. He wore feathered helmet with golden armor. His complexion was dark but his face was bright and innocent. His movements were regal and his walking style was majestic. He was stretching his right hand to stop Babru to commit suicide.

Babru was making a pyre out of teak woods. He chopped all the teak woods at the battle field with his axe and his sword. He was determined to burn himself. At any cost.

"I forgive you my child. It's not your fault."

That man came near Babrubahan and touched his tired head. He closed his eyes and leaned on the strange man's legs. He was so exhausted that he did not want to argue.

"Who are you?!!" Babru asked him.

"I am your uncle." Lord Vasudeva told him with a cordial smile on face.

"I don't have an uncle." Babru tiredly mentioned him.

Lord Krishna Vasudeva smiled again "You have, Chitangada Putro (son). You just don't know. Just like you don't know your father." He answered him.

"I am a sinner. Let me die." Babru told him in brokenheart.

"You have done nothing. It is destiny. You are just a pawn in it's hands. In this world everyone has to pay for their guilt. Ulupi lied about your mother, hence her only son died at the war of Kurukshetra in unmarried state. Your father trusted her lies and insulted your mother brutally. He had killed himself. You are just an excuse. Don't feel bad." Lord Vasudeva tried to console him.

"But I killed him. Isn't it true? Didn't I kill my eldest brother Brishaketu in this war too??!! Why I have to live now when I lost my both parents due to my utter foolishness??!!" He cried aloud by pointing to his parents.

Lord Vasudeva ran his thin fingers through the disravelled and bloodied hair of this boy. He too felt a pang of sadness in his heart. He was so young and naive yet he wanted to ruin his life for his parents. Bravo, brave boy Babrubahan. Your parents should be proud of you.

Lord Vasudeva lifted him from the floor and wiped his tears with his own hands while telling "Your mother is not dead. She had fainted. And nor is your father."

Babrubahan looked at him in utter disbelief. What was he saying??!!

Lord Vasudeva explained his point "According to Hindu mythology and scriptures, a soul needs three days to leave the earth. Your fathers soul is still roaming arround us and so also your brother Brishaketu's. We can revive them. But we need something to help us." He left his sentence half-finished and indulged into deep thought.
