It was a very difficult delivery. Since the morning there was heavy showers of rain. Raindrops were pouring down with pitter patter sounds. In Manipur, rainy season was not very welcomed because of the geography of the state. Manipur was naturally a state with high mountains, hence most of the times rainy season brought landslides and heavy snowfall for which roads were always blocked. The same thing happened at the time of Babrubahan's birth. King Chitra Vahan wanted to send a 'dut' (messanger) to Hastinapur to convey the news of Chitra's health condition, but no messanger was been ready to go. Of course King Chitra Vahan was doing it against Chitra's wish but he thought as a father it was his duty.

He seemed frustrated by the situation and petrified for his daughter's health condition. It seemed to worsen every minute. At last he could not cope up with the pressure and bolted towards his own temple at the Palace. He was a wellknown Shiva-bhakt (devotee of Lord Shiva) hence in his private temple he established a massive Shiva Statue. He went there and by one by one removing his shoes and helmet (it was a ritual to remove them before sitting in Puja) he sat down on the 'asana' (seat). He started to mediate and pray for the health of his own daughter and upcoming grandson. He was telling this in mind -

"Mahadev (another name of Lord Shiva), please save them. It is already 24 hours. I can't see her pain. She is my only daughter. I know may be it is her first and last child but even after this I pray for my daughter. Save her. Spare her."
....

In farher away, someone was also trying to control his fluttering of heart and worries of soul by meditating to his own deity, Lord Vasudeva.

He was also sitting upright in his seat by joining his hands to the statue of Murli-Manohar Lord Krishna

He was also sitting upright in his seat by joining his hands to the statue of Murli-Manohar Lord Krishna. He was also praying for someone. But due to smoke of aromatic candles and sheer darkness of the temple room we could not see his face. And it seemed never relevant to reveal his identity here.
.....

In the private bedroom chamber of the Princess, everyone was busy in bringing towels, hot water vessels and so on.
