"Very crucial situation in our hands. Tatshree, (great uncle) tell me what to do now."

King Dhritarastra asked that to his uncle, Pitamaha Bhisma.

"Rajan (king), do tell Duryodhan to control himself. Tell him that he is not destined to be the Yubaraj (Prince) of Hastinapur. It is Yuddhisthir."

Dhritarasthra looked worried. His big blind eyes batted for some time. He did not like this suggestion for his son. He wanted his Duryodhan to be the crown prince, not his brother Pandu's eldest son Yudhhisthir. But he had no guts to contradict his uncle.

"I agree with Tatsree (great uncle). You should think about the destiny of the state." His younger brother, Bidur, the Prime Minister told him.

Dhritarasthra was angry with Bidur. He never liked straight-forwardness of him. It was he who dethroned him due to his blindless. He was angry of him since then.

"Then what do you think? Duryodhan wanted to be the crown Prince." He slowly told it to them both.

"Tell him not to be stubborn. He was not popular among masses. People just wanted Yudhhisthir." Bhism told him.

Bidur was angry with the foolishness and naivity of his elder brother. He knew it perfectly well that Duryodhan and his arrogance were harmful for the future of his mother land but he was completely under his own 'Putro Moha' (blind love for son) and forgot his duty as a King.

"If you are truly adamant, then I will suggest the break up of Hastinapur in two parts. Give one part to Putro (son) Yudhhisthir." Pitamaha Bhism very coldly suggested that.

All other men were in shock. What on the earth had gotten into his head??!! How could he suggest that??!!

Suddenly someone's angry outburst rang into everyone's ears and all then looked at him. It was Duryodhan whose face was red in anger. He was yelling in rage -

"Pitamaha (grandfather), it's utterly impossible. I don't want to share it with anyone else. Not with that s**ne Yudhhisthir at all."

"Putro (son), when elders are talking youngsters should be quite." Bhism Pitamaha seemed agitated with him.

"Pitamaha (grandfather), elders has no legal right to decide the fate of the youngsters." Duryodhan raised his voice in anger.

Pitamaha looked pissed off. He was clenching his fist so fast that it turned white. He wanted to hit or smack him on his face at once but he knew it was utterly impossible. His father, the King, had spoiled him so much since his childhood that this brat had been of violent temper. He had many good qualities too. But due to wrongdoings he was not lovable by his subjects. He was not a suitable candidate at all.

"I am strongly suggesting what I have already told you all. If you want both of them to be happy, then you have to divide Hastinapur into two pieces. It was an order." Pitamaha Bhism told them all firmly and retired to his own private chamber.

"I agree with him, Bhratasree (elder brother). It was the only soultion of this grave problem." Bidur told that to Dhritarashtra and went away too.

Duryodhan looked expectantly to his father. But Dhritarashtra looked stern as this suggestion seemed excellent in his thought too.
