Justice

It took Ari a while to find her but eventually he found Christa on the other side of the wall with Andrew and Katelynn. Once again he snuck up behind her and this time he got the jump on her. He tapped her shoulder and she turned around, but before she could even begin to smile at the premise of her love coming back Ari wrapped her in his arms. He pinned her arms at her sides and easily lifted her up.

Ari: There you are!

Christa yelped out extremely cute at the surprise, joy, and relief of seeing Ari alive and well after his dangerous mission. She squirmed in his arms at an attempt to break free all to no avail, he really put the squeeze on her as she had done to him. Now totally defenseless she had no way of stopping Ari's small barrage of kisses, he pecked her head, forehead, nose, cheeks, chin and lips. She laughed to the point where it hampered her attempts to break free from Ari's grasp. Andrew and Katelynn looked on and laughed.

After Ari put her down she immediately hugged him softly and he hugged her right back.

Christa: I can't believe I have to say it for the second time in one day but I'm so relieved you're ok. I've heard so much about you from everyone, when we get the time I want you to tell me everything, ok?

Ari: I told you I'd be careful. Of course, I'll give you the full story. You're not hurt are you?

Christa shook her head no, she was just fine. In fact she had never been better, however not everyone was in the same mood. Even though the day was won the casualties had been enormous and they soured any idea of celebrating the victory. Then something unexpected happened, Reiner walked up but kept his distance.

Reiner: Hey, Ari.

Ari: Reiner, I'm glad to see you are ok.

Reiner: A friend of mine was out there, William. We both knew each other well, so uhhhh, thanks....for keeping him alive.

Ari nodded and could see he was being genuine.

Ari: Of course, any time.

Reiner nodded and then walked away leaving everyone a little surprised that he showed some real gratitude toward Ari. Christa realized something and went over and handed Ari a water tin knowing he must be thirsty.

Ari: Oh, thanks I haven't gotten a drink in a while.

Ari downed the entire water tin. As this happened a lot of people approached Ari, he had become something of a hero to them and they all wanted to hear his story.

Connie: Hey, Ari what happened out there anyway?

Jean: Did you really take command?

Sasha: How many kills did you get?

Many other Cadets and even Garrison soldiers began to crowd around him as Christa, Andrew, and Katelynn had to do a little crowd control as Ari attempted to answer as many questions as he could while keeping everyone at a distance. Eventually after a while his salvation came in the form of a red headed section commander. That landed on the building that his back was pressed up against.

Hange: Oh there's the newest Scout!

The crowd reacted with surprise as brand new questions about how he was already a Scout came rushing in.

Hange reached her hand down and pulled Ari up, she decided to have a little more fun after she saw how everyone reached to what she said.

Hange: Now come on, you need to make the preparation for you to get your Red Bolo.

Crowd: WHAT?!?

Christa was equally as surprised that he was getting such an honor, but she gave him a look of approval and proudness at his accomplishment. Ari was sad that he'd be leaving Christa again. But she reassured him just before he left.
