Declaration of War

The play began and just on time a blonde soldier came to where Ari and his group, this was also part of the plan.

Yelena: Porco, Pieck, you have been summoned by Commander Magath, the both of you are to come with me at once.

They both reluctantly compiled and got up.

Pieck: You can watch them right?

Ari: Yeah don't worry.

Pieck: Thanks, If I'm not back before the show ends take them back to your place. I'll pick them up there.

Ari nodded and Yelena dragged them off, Ari knew they were headed to be trapped down a hole where they could not transform. After they left he felt Gabby tug on his coat and he leaned down to her.

Gabby: *whisper* I would really like to see Mrs. Jenster, I still wanna apologize.

Ari just nodded and smiled.

The play went on and it truly was beautifully done. But Ari knew exactly where it was headed and he was not going to let Willy or the Tybers have one last proud moment. A few minutes into the play yet another soldier came by.

Soldier: Gabby, Falco, what are you doing here? All of the families were relocated to a different place to view.

Gabby: Oh, sorry, we didn't kn-

Soldier: I don't care, just come with me.

The two looked disappointed but Ari gave them a reassuring smile and told them to enjoy the show. As Ari watched the two kids walk away with the soldier he knew where they were headed. That soldier was going to take them and lock them in a basement in a house about two blocks away. That way they wouldn't die in what was coming.

After they left Ari gave it a few extra minutes just to be sure they had enough time to reach their imprisonment, he really did not want them to die. During the extra time he allotted them Ari watched the play, the more he did the more determination, resolve, and anger filled him. The play was mostly just lies about Eldia.

Finally Ari decided that enough time had passed.

Ari's thoughts: Mom, Dad, Great grandfather, I hope you're watching.

Ari stood up and grabbed his own microphone out of his coat Pocket and turned it on and it instantly connected to all the loudspeakers. Ari climbed on the stage and walked up to Willy who suddenly found his mic cut off. Everyone saw Ari step on the stage but everyone in the audience thought it was part of the show. The guards did not open fire as their commander hesitated on what exactly to do.

Willy looked at Ari with great fear in his eyes. Ari looked back at him with a strong resolve and commanded everyone's attention and made the crowd go silent as he pointed at Willy accusingly and used a booming voice.

Ari: LIAR!!!!

The crowd gasped as some of them began to wonder if this actually was part of the show while the guard commander still hesitated. Ari then raised his hand and showed it to Willy, Willy spied a small cut on Ari's finger and he knew exactly what that meant. Willy shook with fear knowing Ari could transform at any second. Ari smirked at him.

Ari: Is that the same expression you had on that night?

Willy didn't answer, he just shook with fear.

Ari then turned to the confused and listening crowd and spoke with determination and tenacity.

Ari: People of Marley, and all others who oppress Eldians! You have been fed lies by Willy Tyber! Lies about the past! Lies about who we are! And I will tolerate it no longer! The lie that my people used to rule over an empire of oppression is nothing more than a lie perpetrated by Marley and the Tybers! The battle of Lago never happened, there was no massacre! Helos is nothing more than a false prophet, he never existed in the first place!
