Pleading

Ari couldn't believe it, Annie Leonhart, she was the one who killed so many Scouts, she was the female titan. Now Ari was in the middle of a plan to capture her, their plan was simple, lure her underground so she can't transform and then capture her there. There were Scouts hidden in plain clothes all around in case things went sideways. Everyone was tense as hell even though they were trying to keep everything under control. So far everything was going to plan.

Eren: *whisper* There they are.

Ari watched with Mikasa and Eren as Armin rounded the corner with Annie behind her. When Ari glanced at Annie there eyes met for a brief moment, to his surprise she wasn't angry or indifferent like normal, she was something else and Ari couldn't quite tell what. They all walked together to the entrance of the underground passageways. They all began to head down, but they noticed Annie wasn't following them.

Eren: Annie? Don't tell me you're afraid of dark, cramped places or something.

Annie: Yes, I am. I doubt a brave, suicidal manic like you would understand how a delicate damsel feels.

Eren: You're a damsel who can flip a grown man, stop playing around.

Annie: I'm not going down there.

Eren: Quit playing around!

Mikasa: Eren don't yell.

Annie: I'm sure it's fine, Mikasa. Because for some reason, this whole area seems deserted.

Ari and Mikasa looked at each other, they knew the jig was up. He knew Annie was smart and she probably knew that they were trying to lure her to capture her. Ari decided to do something drastic and he just prayed it worked. He knew where this was heading, and he didn't want it to happen.

Ari: Annie, please.

Annie: Ari, why do you even bother?

Ari: I told you out there it wasn't too late, it isn't, please.

Annie: So that was you, how'd you get that thing anyway? I thought it wasn't even real.

Ari: Long story.

Annie: Shame, I guess we don't have a lot of time then.

Ari: Annie, please, think about what you're doing!

Annie then smirked and she began to laugh demonstrably.

Annie: Oh, Ari, there's just no telling what you're doing. You're a bigger threat than me! How did you get everyone to trust you even though they know nothing about you?

Ari: You don't wanna come down here? Fine! I'll walk you outside the city and we can talk.

Mikasa: Ari!

Ari: Annie, I also gave you a warning out there. Think for god's sake, how's this gonna end?

Annie: People still think they have it y'know, I wonder which one is the bigger liar.

She lowered her head and swept her hair back.

Annie: I'd like to come with you, Ari. But I can't.

Ari: Yes you can! Please, I don't wanna fight you.

Ari knew she didn't trust them so he decided to take a very drastic step. He took off his ODM gear and walked up close to her and outstretched his hand. He begged her not to turn this into a fight.

Ari: I know what it's like to feel all alone. Come with me, and I promise nothing bad will happen. All we will do is talk.

Annie looked at his hand, she seriously wanted to take it. But the one thing she cared about was her father, and she knew if she turned then they would kill him.
