Hail Mary

BOOM!

The ground beneath their feet shook as they all saw the massive flash happen in the sky. A wave of unbelievable destruction sped to them until the shockwave and then the heat and smoke ran over the crystal. It was terrifying and awesome to witness. The dust started to settle and Hange put her hand on Ari's shoulder.

Hange: It's ok, you can drop it now, Ari.

The crystal began to melt away as Ari took a deep breath.

The colossal titan now stood extremely tall. The explosive itself had started many fires which were now rapidly spreading.

Ari: Shit, I couldn't stop him.

The colossal swatted up flaming pieces of debris and spread the fire further.

Jean: What do we do? His steam makes our ODM gear useless!

Hange racked her brain for anything that she could use. Before she could come up with a plan she ordered everyone to the rooftops to better assess the situation. After taking a minute Hange was still struggling to come up with something. They had never really beaten the Colossal before and their experience with it was very minimal. Bertholdt was now making his way to the wall, if he could get there it would be over. From there he could rain death on everyone guarding the horses and the horses themselves.

Hange: Shit!

Everyone was waiting for Hanges orders, but she drew blank after that as Bertholdt slowly but surely marched forward.

Jean: Section Commander, your orders?!

Nothing still, Armin zipped over to where she was and whispered something in her ear.

Hange: That might work.

She turned to everyone.

Hange: Alright! cut Reiner's legs again and stash him somewhere nearby, we can't afford his dead weight in this battle. Eren, you're going to grab and push one of his legs to knock him off balance. Me, Armin, and Jean will get up to him and distract him. Mikasa, you get behind him and kill him! His disadvantage is that he's slow and can't see his entire body. We are gonna use that.

Everyone: Roger!

Moblit slashed Reiners legs and then tossed him in a building. Then they all go moving, Eren was first to get in position to distract him. Eren roared loud to ensure he got the Colossal's attention. Bertholdt looked down at Eren.

Hange: Yes, It's working!

Eren charged and Clung to Bertholdt's left foot. He pushed his foot back.

Armin: It's working! At this rate he will tip over!

Eren pushed his foot back and back, then Bertholdt lifted his ankle and dragged Eren up with him.

Katelynn: Wait, he's not pushing him back....he's...

Bertholdt kicked Eren off of him with great force, so great in fact that Eren was flung on top of the wall. Eren was immediately out for the count as he just lay there on top of the wall. If Ari didn't know any better he would have assumed he was dead.

Bertholdt resumed his walk to the wall, now with Eren as an extra prize waiting for him.

Hange: Uuuuuurgh!

Ari zipped over to her.

Ari: Hange, I think I have a plan.

Hange: Let's hear it, anything.

Ari told Hange her plan and she liked the sound of it. His plan was for them to make diversionary attacks on the colossal. A few would go up its front and distract him while Mikasa would sneak up behind him at the same time and go for his nape. They had already tried, but, while he was distracted Ari and Hange squad lay flying fists in his path so when he stepped on them the explosion under his foot would knock him off balance making him easy prey.
