All the Scouts were headed back to the airship that they had used to get there. As Sasha carried Ari over Hange zipped next to them.

Hange: Great job, Ari. Some of us were listening to your speech over the radio waves. I have to say it was impressive.

Ari: Thanks, Hange. But most of it was just what Eren told me to say. What's gonna happen to him anyway?

Hange: That moron started a war. He's going to be arrested, I've had a prison cell ready for him ready to go ever since his "plan" first began. But, I'll admit that it was very carefully thought out.

Sasha: He even went out of his way to limit civilian casualties, I wouldn't have expected that from Eren.

Hange: Yeah, but what's done is done. Ari, when we get back I know you'll want to see Historia but I'll need to go with you so we can talk about what comes next.

Ari: Of course, Hange. Speaking of which is the next phase of the plan on schedule?

Hange: Yep, Marley's fleet will soon be at the bottom.

Ari could only faintly hear the sound of aircraft engines roaring in the distance. By now Marley's fleet had just finished docking in the harbor and secured their moorings. Now stuck in place and unable to get away, the Freedom along with 6 single-engine torpedo bombers began to rain hell down on the fleet and the harbor. Ari wished he could see it himself but for him hearing the distant explosions tearing the hulls of the mighty ships apart was enough.

After they all got on board Hange did a headcount to check their losses and gave Ari instructions to give to Armin and Mike. When Ari got on board he noticed that among the younger Scouts there was celebration and the great victory. But among his friends and the older Scouts and MPs and Garrison soldiers, the mood was more somber, they knew this would almost definitely mean war. At the very least with Marley but it was hoped at least that this show of strength would deter other nations from joining a military coalition with Marley.

Ari walked past Andrew and Katelynn who were arguing over who got more kills with Katelynn ultimately conceding that she lost their bet. The couple kissed and found some solace in each other. Sasha meanwhile was tending to some wounds of her own as well as of other soldiers, but she was fine. Eventually, after Ari pushed through the crowd he arrived at the door to the front of the airship but someone yelled his name before he entered making him stop and look back.

Floch: Let's hear it for Consort Ari Reiss! The very man who shattered the image of Marley and the Tybers with his words! and of course his fist!

The younger Scouts cheered his name and clapped for Ari. Ari gave them a smile and thanked them but he didn't want the fame. He couldn't help but feel a sense of Deja vu. That was also one of the first times Ari could remember being addressed by his title of Consort. But back during his speech that was the first time he had used his connection with the royal family to really do anything.

Ari: Thanks, Floch. But this victory belongs to all of us, not just me.

Floch: Come on, Consort Reiss! What you said with the whole war thing was badass! Give yourself a little credit.

Ari again gave them a smile.

Ari: It's Lieutenant Reiss, thanks.

Ari then left and went to the front of the airship and found Eren restrained and getting an earful from Levi, Mikasa, and Armin. Zeke was also with them with no arms just as planned. Ari walked past them up to Mike and relayed instructions to him.

Ari: Hange says to begin the ascent in 3 minutes.

Mike: Roger.

Ari then went back to his friends and secret co-conspirator. Needless to say, everyone in the room apart from Ari was angry at Eren for what he had done, but Ari played a part to match his friends. Meanwhile, Eren was his cold emotionless self. Ari never wanted to become that, Ari had his friends and Historia and Talia to thank for the fact that he was still himself.
