Awakening(🍋)

Ari walked for a minute in the sandy mysterious place that was covered by the night sky, or at least he assumed it was the night sky since he didn't know where he was. But in the distance, he saw a tall person just casually walking. Ari immediately ran up to him and got around to his front.

Ari: Hey, sir, where the hell are we?

He didn't recognize the man, he wore a long trench coat and a hat, and his face was obstructed by shadows. Suddenly the man lunged forward at Ari and covered Ari's eyes with his hand and gripped the back of Ari's head with his other hand. Ari immediately struggled to get loose of the man's grip but with no success, his strength was almost inhuman.

Ari: Let me go!

In an almost demonic and knowing tone the mysterious man asked Ari a question.

???: Do you want to see?

Ari still vigorously struggled against the man's grip but he wasn't able to get anywhere. Ari formed fists and slammed them down on the man's arms and still got nowhere. Ari then scratched his arm until he bled to transform but it didn't work. He was well and truly trapped and blinded by this person. Again in his demonic tone, the man repeated the question to the now scared Ari.

???: Do you want to see?

Ari still put up a fight as his head was squeezed and finally, he had to give in.

Ari: Alright! Yes! Just let me go!

The man relaxed his grip and lowered his hands, when Ari opened his eyes horror filled his entire body and goosebumps covered his skin. He was now surrounded by thousands and thousands of Colossal Titans. All of them looked down at him, their gazes easily struck fear into Ari's heart. Ari frantically turned to the man and watched as he took off his hat and revealed his identity. The shadows left his face and Ari saw it was his great Grandfather Stefan Foerster, the man who had first stolen the Warhammer from the Tybers. Ari knew it was him thanks to seeing some of his past memories.

Stefan: You asked to see, this is it. You're future.

His great grandfather pointed behind Ari, spinning his head around Ari saw the Colossal Titans had moved a little to reveal a stack of bodies so large it went well beyond Ari's view. Men, women, and children, when he looked closer he saw that each of them had tears of blood running down their cheeks. Ari was absolutely petrified at this point, his heart beat out of control, and his incredibly quick hyperventilation made his lungs burn.

Ari: No no no no no no, This.......this is not my future. It can't be.

Stefan: It is! This has always been your future!

Ari was too mortified to move and look away from the millions or even billions of dead bodies all carelessly disregarded in a pile. So Stefan walked over to Ari and aggressively turned his head around once more and Ari now looked up at a Colossal titan easily five times the size of all the rest. But this one was different, it had white armored plating on its muscles.

It scared Ari because he knew, he knew that was him, it was his colossal, armored, and founder all put together. Ari finally managed to get some small amount of control over himself back and covered his ears and shut his eyes to try and block it all out. His great grandfather's voice still cut through easily though.

Stefan: This is what will happen if you do not accept your future.

Stefan forced Ari's eyes open and Ari saw everyone he knew in front of him. Hange, Levi, Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Andrew, Katelynn, Mike, Shadis, Everyone single one of his friends, everyone he cared about, fellow soldiers, civilians, people he knew the name of, all of them were there standing in a long row. They each stared at him blankly in the eye before they all cried tears of blood before all shut their eyes and collapsed to the ground dead. Two however still stood. Historia and Talia each stood a little longer and looked at Ari emotionless.
