Epilogue

Less than a month after the military coalition was crushed and Ari's rumbling had finished, delegations from around the world arrived at Paradise. Ari's rumbling had done its job very well and with the power of Paradise now demonstrated to the world no one dared fight them. Each and every nation asked for peace and even Marley begged for peace. After the rumbling Marley and all other nations' militaries were effectively crushed meaning they had no option but to hope for peace. With Ari behind her, Historia gladly accepted these peace offerings with conditions.

Historia would not enforce financial reparations on Marley or even make them give major territorial concessions. However, there were conditions that every nation was presented with and every single nation in the world agreed to adopt them with no resistance.

-All races and people were to be regarded and treated as equals.

-Blood testing was banned.

-The systems of internment zones and segregation would be done away with.

-History textbooks and education systems as a whole would be rewritten to correct false information and paint an honest picture.

-People who had committed "crimes against humanity" or more specifically crimes against Eldians would be handed over for prosecution.

-All symbolism that painted Eldians as devils had to be done away with in all nations.

-Government officials that Paradies deemed unforgivable would be removed from power so as to ensure no one tried to continue the persecution of Eldians.

-All nations would begin trade with Paradise.

-All nations would also join a new international framework designed to mediate conflicts before they could become large scale wars called the United Confederation of Countries. Or the UCC.

These had real and immediate effects since they finally freed so many that had lived in internment zones and ghettos all throughout the world. People were freed from prison since now all laws applied the same. Newspapers around the world gave it the nickname "The Great Freedom". Many racist leaders were removed from office and great political change across the nations brought prosperity. The world finally knew peace, and Eldians finally knew freedom and lived in fear no more.

As soon as the word reached everyone that the final treaty was signed there were jubilant celebrations all throughout the walls and within the Eldian communities throughout the world. Each of them chanted the names of the Scouts as well as Ari and Historia. Despite this, however, Ari and Historia were at none of these celebrations or victory parties. Instead, the two were at home in their living room in front of a warm fire. It was dark out now as the sun set and was replaced by a beautiful moon and amazing stars. The fireplace had been lit by Ari about 30 minutes ago, which was around the time Historia put Talia and Christov down for bed.

Now Ari and Historia were in their living room slow dancing together. A new technology that had come to Paradise thanks to trade was something called a phonograph and it played music. Ari had recently acquired a song by the name of "The White Cliffs Of Dover". He and Historia were currently slow dancing to it with their hands interlaced and feet moving in sync. The two were very close and could not stop looking into each other's love filled eyes. Earlier in the day Ari had officially handed in his resignation to Hange and she accepted it.

Ari could now finally give all of his time to Historia and his children. To Ari and Historia their lives were absolutely perfect, none of them had any complaints. After the two stopped dancing, Historia wrapped her arms around Ari's neck and Ari leaned down placing his hands at her sides. The two kissed with so much love and joy.
