Infiltration

Andrew and Katelynn were incredibly nervous as they went over the plan with Hange one more time.

Hange: Ok, you're both good right? You got it?

Andrew: Yes....we're just not sure about it, Section Commander.

Hange: Come on, what's the worst that could happen?

Katelynn: We all spend the rest of our lives in jail? Torture? Branded as enemies of humanity? Maybe execution?

Hange: Nah, we'll be fine! Now come on, tie me and Moblit up.

The pair exchanged a look, they never thought they would get an order like that. But they did it nonetheless. They were just a minute's ride away from Utopia district, and were placing Hange and Moblit in a carriage. Andrew and Katelynn had on the MP uniforms from the ones they captured and then tortured and they had muskets strapped on their backs. The plan was simple: pose as MPs that had captured Hange and Moblit who were rogue Scouts, use that as an excuse to go into the local Garrison HQ. Once inside, get into the records room and get the info on where Rod could be. They would lock up Hange and Moblit if need be but they would retrieve them if they need be. Rod had land near the district so if they were gonna find any leads it would be in the record room.

Andrew snapped the reins of the carriage and they got moving, Katelynn stayed in the back to pose as the guard.

Katelynn: Why are we the guards anyway? I feel like you'd be better suited for this, Section Commander.

Hange: Maybe we would be, but if anyone higher up saw me they would instantly recognise me and Moblit. Not to mention that I don't have the experience you two have.

Andrew: What do you mean? We've never escorted prisoners.

Hange: No but you have gotten into a Garrison HQ under less than legal circumstances.

Katelynn and Andrew's eyes widened.

Katelynn and Andrew: How do you know about that?

Hange laughed a little bit.

Hange: That guard you duped reported it to his captain after the fast, he reported it to Shadis. He would have reprimanded you for taking ODM gear without permission but he was actually impressed by it all so he stayed quiet. He did enter it into the records that I have access to.

Katelynn and Andrew had thought for sure that they had gotten away with what they did. They were not afforded much time to think about it as they entered the city.

Hange: *whisper* You'll both be fine. Just remember, your MPs so act like you own the place.

They stepped out of the carriage and Hange and Moblit tried to put on a defeated face. Andrew opened the door of the carriage in front of the entrance.

Andrew: Alright, get out.

He used a commanding tone and they promptly did. The Garrison soldier guard looked like he had seen this before already.

Soldier: Two more Scouts, eh?

Andrew: Yes, we are here to put them into holding.

Soldier: In the basement, they will be happy to re-join all their friends.

None of them liked that one bit but Andrew didn't react visibly at least. They marched on past the guard and went in, the courtyard was littered with Garrison soldiers. Hange and Moblit kept their heads down as best they could.

Otto: Hold it you two.

All four of them stopped as a tall and intimidating Garrison soldier walked over to them. The marking on his uniform had the rank of Lieutenant. Andrew and Katelynn turned to face him.
