"And that's Orion," he pointed. I wasn't looking at the stars, I was looking at him.

"Do you feel like you can trust me?" I asked suddenly. He stilled and turned to me. He gulped.

"Yeah," he nodded.

"Good, because I didn't tell you that stuff about Sirius to make you mad, and have your parents hit you and punish you," I promised.

"It's okay," he said.

"No, it's not okay, you're already so thin and they're going to starve you. They're so cruel to you and it h-hurts my heart," I realized I was crying at the end. He looked terrified.

"Oh my goodness, come here," he said and wrapped me in his arms, I cried on his shirt.

"I'm so sorry, so sorry," I wept,

"No, no, it's okay, I don't blame you. They're awful, you're not. Please don't cry, I don't like it," he said trying to soothe me. I sniffed and tried to calm down. He wasn't letting me go.

"It keeps flashing in my mind," I whispered. "Y-you looked so ....used to it."

"I am," he said quietly. It felt like it was just us in the universe.

"Regulus?" I said.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"You're my only friend," I whispered, worried he'd push me away.

"I think you're mine too," he chuckled. We separated and I awkwardly left the tree house so he could have some alone time.

"Y/n, what were you doing outside?" Sirius was in my room. I trembled when I saw the bulge in his pants. I hadn't even gotten to close the window.

"I was looking at the stars," I lied.

"Well, you heard what my mother said, I don't need to pay you to get what I want," he said and pointed to the floor. I shakily got on my knees, obediently opening my mouth. He dropped his trousers. He grabbed my hair hard.

That's when, from behind Sirius's back, I saw Regulus climbing in the window, he put a finger to his mouth. Next, a blast of green light hit Sirius and he slumped over, knocked out completely.

"Thank you," I gasped, getting up. "But won't he be furious?"

"I don't care, I'll plant false memories," he growled.

"Sleep in the tree house or my room from now on," he gritted out.

"What!" I asked in shock.

"Or at least let me teach you a locking spell Alohamora can't break," he said desperately. "I can't bear that asshole doing shit to you."

"Thank you Regulus, yes, t-teach me," I begged.

The next day Regulus was brooding as Sirius and I were posing for engagement photos. I may have done sexual things with Sirius, but this was the first romantic thing we'd done. Laying my head on his chest, staring into one another's eyes, and cuddling close all felt odd. I couldn't help but compare Sirius's arms, to the arms of his brother.

"This is such bullshit," Regulus said and kicked the grass.

"Hush it, brother," Sirius snapped.

"I won't do as you say, this is all a farce, you bought her, you didn't woo her," Regulus growled.

"Marriage is just another form of possession Regulus," he said stoically.

"No, it's about love and cherishing a connection with someone!"

"You're only saying that because you have a crush on her," Sirius spat, and I watched Regulus go bright scarlet.

"I d-do not," he said.

"You're jealous, you want her, I see the way you look at her, all longing," Sirius laughed at his brother.

"No, I'm not jealous, I just hate that our parents bought you a pet wife!" He said, throwing up his hands and marching back into the house.

Later when I was inspecting one of their dusty rooms full of old trinkets, there was a voice by my ear.

"I lied, I am jealous."
