I was shocked that Regulus was able to actually hire a wizard to apparate us to Saint Mungos. We held hands and he squeezed mine encouragingly. We were whisked to the hospital and he walked snootily up to the desk.

"Regulus Black and Y/N.....," he faltered, I'd never seen him look so flustered.

"Do you go by the last name Lupin?" He whispered to me.

"Y/N Allard," I spoke up.

"Yes, Regulus Black and Y/n Allard, we're here to see a patient," He said, his pretentious demeanor, back in place.

"Of course Mr. Black, I'd love to help you, what's the patients name?"

"Philip Allard," I said.

"Excellent patient number thirteen hundred and fifty," she said cheerily. I glared at her, my father was more than a number.

"I'll get an orderly to guide you," she smiled.

I clutched Regulus's hand and he rubbed a thumb over mine gently. We followed a huge Orderly down a few different halls, until we reached a grey door.

"If you need anything let me know, he's never been dangerous so we don't need to worry about that," the orderly said in a deep voice.

"Thank you," I said.

I opened the door with a shaking hand. I saw him sitting at a desk playing with blocks.

"Papa," I said softly.

"Y/n, it's been so long," he said and I hugged him.

"I'm sorry, I know it has been," I said.

"Did the blue elephant let you in?" He whispered.

"No Papa, the hospital did," I said.

"I haven't been in the hospital in years, this is my magic emporium," he said, throwing his hands in the air. I smiled sadly.

"Okay Papa," I nodded.

"I don't like the blue elephant, but I can't get him to leave. I do enjoy the pink leopard though," he smiled happily.

"Are you enjoying yourself?" I asked quietly.

"Yes, I am making many magical strides.... WHO IS THAT!" He asked, happy to see someone with me.

"This is Regulus, he's my boyfriend," I said and ushered him in.

"Ah, I'm honored to meet you," he said and stuck his hand out. Regulus moved forward awkwardly. He stiffly shook his hand.

"So, how did you two meet?" He asked and and we looked at each other.

"School," I said at the same time as Regulus said "I kissed her."

I glared at Reg, but he was sickly pale. I was shocked that he was so nervous, but it was endearing.

"You kissed at school?" He asked curiously.

"Yes..." I said carefully.

"Brilliant," my father smiled.

"Regulus, do you do good in school?" He asked.

"Y-yes sir, very well. I've got top marks, and I'm a quidditch seeker, and, and! I'm a prefect, head boy in fact," he explained excitedly.

"I don't know what half those words mean," he shook his head.

"Father went to a French wizarding school," I explained to him.

"Um well they're all good things, I am not a dead beat who is using your daughter," he said quickly.

"You're trying to impress him," I whispered to him with a smirk.

"Shut it," he mumbled.

"Yes daddy," I rolled my eyes but his cheeks went pink.

"That's okay Regulus, I believe you," he smiled and quirked his head to the side. "Do you love her?"

"Yes, yes I do sir," he said, straightening.

"Good, so you'll take care of her when I'm gone."

"Papa, don't say that," I pleaded.

"It's okay, I know it's coming," he said peacefully.

"Let's talk about happier things," I said desperately.

We talked about other things. I listened to his stories and he listened to mine. Regulus was mainly there for moral support. He hugged both of us when visiting time was up.

"Thanks for lying to my dad about loving me, it will make him happy," I whispered to him.

"Yeah," he said distantly.

When we were apparated back Regulus paid the man. We walked slowly back to the castle when I suddenly burst into tears.

"Hey, hey," he said softly and folded me into my arms.

"I'm sorry, this is stupid," I said

"No it isn't sweetheart," he said. "It's not at all, I'll hold you till it stops hurting so bad."

"Thank you," I sobbed.
