I need this to be over, but there are still some things that need to happen. BUT the TIME TRAVEL is finally over. Hopefully.... UNLESS.....

No seriously, it's over.

---------------------------------------------------------

Morgana POV.:

It was dark at first. Or really, really bright. It was the kind of colour that your brain couldn't recognise for all that it tried. As if your eyes were too stupid to figure them out, but knew that there was SOMETHING to figure out. Like looking at an optical illusion that made your mind all wobbled up inside.

The worst part was that it all felt so familiar.

When Morgana opened her one seeing eye, she stared into Leon's face. There was no doubt about it. This was Leon, better groomed and with less exhaustion around the eyes.

"Where am I?" She didn't hesitate to ask, because what would be the point in that? Her voice echoed in the vast emptiness only to fall on deaf ears. Still she knew he had heard her.

"Hello to you too, mediator."

Morgana blinked. "What did you call me?" Okay, either she had gone crazy or mental or both. The idea was pretty much confirmed once her one eye glance him over and found an eye in his hand. Quite literally, an eye. It looked familiar. She could recognise the power that it was emitting to her. It belonged to her. "Is that my eye?" Now that thought was just ridiculous.

She shook her head. "I was in the court yard! Why am I not in the court yard? Where is this? How are you here?"

Leon shook his head and sighed. "Do you remember travelling through time? You're there, beyond the timeline." His smirk curled around his mouth, as if the entire situation was amusing, rather than terrifying. Not that Morgana was terrified.

Morgana blinked again, then turned her head to him. It did, in fact, feel familiar. Being around this darkness. This nonsense of a lighting. But seeing Leon here was new.

"If that were true, why are you here?"

Leon shrugged. "I died."

Morgana opened her mouth to respond. Then she closed it again. "I'm immortal. I can't be dead."

Leon laughed and threw the eyeball in the air, just to catch it again. "Sounds about right. I didn't say you were dead. Just because I am doesn't mean the same counts for you.

Just... breathe a second. I need you to get your soul back together, so I can send you back to the right timeline. Is that alright with you?"

Quite frankly, Morgana did not feel alright with that. She knew what he meant. He wanted her to take that eye back. Her eyes fell to take the sight of that disgusting piece of human anatomy in, then she returned her stare to Leon's relaxed expression. "I have no interest in that thing!", she pointed at the eye. Her? Getting her soul back together? That was just wrong.

"You have no idea what that thing does to me." She stepped back, but somehow she felt closer to Leon than she had before. Was she accepting his words for the truth? For reality? Did that make sense? It sounded right and Morgana had seen enough things to believe in her instincts. It made as much sense as herself waking up in this strangely familiar place.

"I do, in fact. Morgana, you are the goddess of time. The eye that you still carry with you, holds the burden of the past. The one in my hand -", he threw and caught it once more. "-this one holds the future."
