Lance snuggled into Keith's side with Keith's arms around him, they were sleeping when Shiro woke them up, Keith opened his eyes with a tired glare "don't wake him up" he warned as Lance didn't move enjoying Keith's warmth the sunk into his body. Lance had gotten better at not jolting awake with Keith's help so he hardly woke up the first time or at the slightest sound he stayed asleep in contempt.
"Sorry but you both need to wake up" Shiro said with a smile and Keith had a feeling his brother was up to something sneaky, but had no idea how right he was. "Fine" Keith nudged Lance making him let out a yawn and sleepily open his eyes "what? I'm tired" Lance's eyes were drifting back to sleep "we gotta get up" Lance groaned and covered his head with the blanket snuggling closer to Keith "nu" Keith groaned in a gay panic "Lance come on get up" Shiro said "nu" Keith had an idea, he got out of the bed and Lance frowned at the loss of warmth before the covers were pulled off in Keith's hands. Lance reached blindly for it before sitting up with a pout "again? Really?" Keith smirked "up" Lance muttered under his breath while pouting but got out of bed with his big jacket on him. "Alright let's go" Lance was dragged by Keith as the pair followed Shiro into a room "okay, stay here I'll be back" Lance have eachother a look when the doors closed. They were alone.
"I guess we wait?" Lance asked and Keith nodded before the pair went over to a part of the room to wait and sat down next to one another. Lance was still tired so he kept drifting to sleep before his head fell onto Keith's shoulder making Keith tense a little before relaxing. "He's not coming back, is he?" Lance asked tiredly, "I had a feeling he was planning something but I just didn't know what" Keith admitted. "I wonder why we're in this room" Lance said "I don't know but at least we could go back to sleep" Lance nodded.
Keith had many thoughts running through his head. He was stuck in a room with his crush, he was sure the door was locked and he had the distinct impression that they were out in here to confess any feelings that haven't been told. He glanced his eyes to Lance, wondering if he should confess.
For about a week now they've slept in the same bed together and spent possibly more time with one another then with the others, well Lance and Allura were bonding faster then he was with others. Lance still got quite flustered with compliments and anything he wasn't used to which Keith found very adorable. But then he thought on how he looked at Lance. How he felt about him, how he liked being around him, his interests, his personality, just Lance in general. He wouldn't never deny he liked Lance more than just a friend. He wanted to be more like boyfriend's and mates, it's just he didn't know how Lance felt. He probably didn't have feeling for him and he probably wouldn't want to be mates.
The pair had all the time right now, they haven't been attacked by the Galra for almost two weeks and they've been at peace while helping others at the same time but also bonding during that time. Lance and Pidge were able to get back to piloting after just about week of close watch and time to get better even after their little boredom they had, they were doing a lot better.
He glanced back to Lance wondering if he was asleep again.
He sighed.
Welp, better now then never.
"Hey Lance, I don't know if your awake right now, you probably went back to sleep but I wanted to tell you something for awhile now" Lance didn't move but he was listening with his eyes closed wondering what Keith wanted to say. "I've liked you for a long time, I doubt you feel the same but it's true. I've always admired the Lance McClain that I met in the Garrison when we were younger, even now the shy cute boy you are" Lance was blushing a mad storm right now.
He felt the same. He liked him. He was confessing.
He heard Keith chuckle "your probably deep in sleep to even hear this but I guess it's fine, I'll be here when you wake up" Keith finished what he was saying then leaned his head back and closed his eyes, Lance shifted before placing a kiss on Keith's cheek making the raven open his eyes looking into Lance's blue eyes at his reddened cheeks full of blush. Keith's own cheeks red, it appears Lance was not asleep.
"I like you too" Lance said making Keith smile "nice to know, kitty" Lance's blush went into a deeper red and Keith laughed. Keith pulled Lance onto his lap and gave him a kiss on the lips and now Lance felt like passing out because of blush overload "hey, don't pass out on me" Keith said through chuckles noticing how Lance looked like he would pass out from blushing to hard "i-i can't help it" he squeaked and buried his head in Keith's shoulder embarrassment working its way into his mind "hey, is my kitty blushing?" Lance squealed muffledly into Keith's shoulder and Keith laughed.
Keith was enjoying this and now he had no shame in teasing his kitty.

A/N: Klance shipped people! Took us 14 chapters until then but meh, now warning to y'all real quick for chapter 15. There is smut (Lance went into heat and Keith is helping this time) I don't know if I'll do hardcore smut or lemon and or lime for that chapter I ain't got an idea yet but just giving y'all a heads up for next chapter.
