Chapter Forty Five (Angst at the End)

Lance fed Mela by his nipple which he found odd because he's a male but then remembered that he's able to give birth as an Omega, she suckled happily getting some food into her stomach while his lower half was covered in a blanket because he was naked underneath and Keith was in the shower. Stupid Mullet making his back sore and ass feel good. 

He sighed, as much as she was a growing child, she was also a hungry child. He didn't blame her though, everyone has hunger that must be satisfied, he understood that well enough. It's apart of his past that he's made it past with Keith and everyone else's help and currently he was living a good life. However he's been having bad feelings like somethings off with the air around them and he didn't like it, Mela burped as she was soon full and Lance pat her back letting her get any excess gas out of her system. She then giggled doing grabby hands for his tail that he let her grab as long as she didn't pull on it and she could feel the softness and was laughing and giggling when he used his tail to tickle her Keith walked out with a towel around his waist and one around his neck "I see she's not the only one who likes your tail" Lance glared at him through some blush on his face and used his tail on Keith when he got close enough to smack him making Mela giggle and Keith chuckle before his tail went back to tickling Mela. 

"Jerk" he mumbled blushing as Keith kissed the back of his neck where his red diamond was making him shudder when the amazing shots of electricity up and down his spine. "I'm your jerk Kitty" Lance rolled his eyes with a smile and Mela was still playing with his tail, maybe she might have a Galran form but neither of them were sure if she would even have one since she looked very Altean, it wasn't that hard to notice and he feared for her safety. Zarkon had wiped out nearly his entire race aside from the Colony where Romelle was from, Him, Allura, Coran and now Mela, even Lotor was Half Altean so maybe he counted? No he wasn't counting him, he was more Galran then Altean plus he never saw him to be trustworthy, that black aura always stayed around him and never left even his deep blood red orange always told him that he was lying. 

Keith just let Lance go on in his thoughts with his arms around him playing with Mela who had both his finger and Lance's tail in her hands and she was giggling and kicking her feet as high as she could happily, she was adorable.

Lance talked to Romelle in the bridge, she was visiting from  the Rebels and he was excited to see her again. He was making gestured while she snickered did some herself having a conversation while having fun at the same time, Keith had Mela in the bay where his mother and Veronica was so he was glad he knew where they were or he would've been worried on his little girl. 

Shiro was over with Pidge and the others so he had time to catch up with the Blonde Altean. Shiro's groan of pain suddenly reached his ears "Shiro? What's wrong" Lance and Romelle broke their conversation to see Shiro holding his head seemingly in pain "Shiro? Shiro!" Pidge went to shake his shoulder but he attacked her instead "Pidge!" Lance's mother instincts caught on quick and he rushed at Pidge and kicked Shiro as hard as he could away from her and ran with Pidge in his arms "Shiro, what the heck stop!" he yelled checking Pidge who was holding her shoulder in a wince, he worried for her "Lance, watch out!" their eyes widen as they looked to see Shiro lunge at them Lance kicked off from the ground and used his back to catch their fall eliminating Pidge more pain and they slid across the floor. Hunk used his canon to try and hit Shiro but he dodged, Lance's eyes widen, Shiro was coming straight for them again. "Pidge run!" he placed a kiss on her and tossed her out of the way as Shiro tumbled into him hard making him cry out. "Lance!" Allura raced at the black paladin punching him but he kicked back tossing her away onto the floor, everything suddenly went black for Lance when Shiro's arm knocked him out at the back of the neck and he went limp.

Tossing him on his shoulder he went on his way to knock out the others and he ran out of the room with Lance, Allura groaned in pain as she lifted herself off the floor, horror sinking in and slammed her hand on the audio button for the castle "Shiro has gone mad, he has Lance. Stop him before he leaves the ship!" The bay doors opened revealing Shiro and Lance hanging limply on his shoulder "Shiro, let him go!" Handing Mela to his mother he raced at Shiro in a growl with his sword but he dodged and missed grabbing a spare gun and began to shoot at them making them hide for cover, Mela cried out in fear and Krolia used her body as a shield to protect her "No!" Shiro set Lance in the passenger seat and the cover of the pod turned on lastly showing Shiro's eyes to be different and he flew out of the ship, Keith's eyes widen and turned deathly serious "Watch Mela and check on the others I'm going after them!" with a nod they raced out of the bay racing to the bridge and Keith went straight to the Black lions hanger and pushed full force after the pod. Mela was crying by then when Krolia was checking everyone even Allura was crying and Veronica was checking the computer trying to stab a location where Shiro was going, she didn't let her tears fall, she needed to be strong and find her brother.

She was not going to lose him again!
