Krolia was assessing some training of some of the Blades when Kolivan called for her to the bridge, "Your in charge until I get back. I want results after the training is done, understand" the Blade member nodded and she left to the bridge.
"Yes Kolivan, is something the matter?" he moved to show Keith on the screen "Keith" he nodded "Is something the matter? Everything okay?" she asked taking a stand next to Kolivan "It's about Lance, Pidge suggested I call you and ask if you can look after Lance when I have to go fight the Galra." he told her "Did something happen to him?" she asked vaguely concerned "Coran said the baby was kicking Lance's stomach too hard causing him pain. He's in a pod right now to keep them stabilized and I have literally zero experience being a father" he said "I'm on my way" he nodded and the feed ended "Sorry I'll have to leave" she turned to him "It's fine, go" she nodded and left the bridge to one of the ships and left in it putting in the coordinates for the castle of lions.
She sent a link feed that was answered by Allura "Ah, Krolia, everything alright?" she asked "Keith called me about Lance" she knew exactly why Krolia was coming now "I'll open the bay doors so you can come in" Krolia nodded and Allura opened the bay doors letting Krolia's ship in and quickly closing the doors behind her. Keith met up with her while Pidge stayed in the medbay where Lance was still, he then led her to the medbay while giving her the rundown of what transpired a while ago "Yeah, that sounds a little bad" she said "A little? More like a lot if he's being hurt" Keith grumbled crossing his arms "Don't think you didn't pack a punch when I was pregnant with you" she chuckled and he just mumbled under his breath as they neared the medbay the doors opened and they walked in where Pidge was wrapping Keith's jacket around Lance who was shivering "I hate the pods they're cold!" he whined as she snickered "It was for good measure calm down" he non-heatedly glared at her "Shush miss never been in a pod" she shook her head amused.
Lance looked ahead of them to see Krolia and Keith "Hi, Keith your my heater come here" he sighed in relief that he was alright but walked over anyway taking a seat behind him and wrapped his arms around Lance "Ah, much warmer" Lance layed against him warming up from the cold effects of the pod Krolia bent down and placed a hand on his stomach receiving a less harsh kick from the baby "Oh, now you wanna be merciful on the kicks when it's grandma" he pouted at his stomach as she chuckled "Everything alright with the baby?" he sighed "Lately the baby has been kicking my stomach hard causing me shocks of pain, I don't know why because I hadn't experienced it before now" he said making Keith's arms tighten and Pidge's fingers twitch to where she would go for her bayard, Krolia knew what he was referring to and nodded without a word.
Lance was still 2 months from giving birth so it was crucial he be out of danger for a safe birth and chance to actually spend time with his children.
Krolia soon explained that she was here to help with his pregnancy and even got Lance stop saying he didn't want to be babied and to help them out in the field but that was immediately shot down by everyone in the room and he accepted his fate. But when he thought about it more.. he was grateful, really he felt and showed how grateful he was but he hated being babied because Veronica did that after some of the more PTSD related abuse when he was little, he didn't like worrying people but guessed it was needed. "Alright but just know I hate being babied, Veronica did that when I was little and after that I tried to avoid being babied any chance it was brought up" he explained "You'll be babied when your carrying a child" Keith let his chin lay on his shoulder "But it's not fair" he whined "It's Fair when your giving birth to life" he cut in "Stupid Mullet and facts" he grumbled under his breath pouting, Pidge shook her head amused at the banter and pouting of her friends while Krolia just chuckled.
