Chapter Twenty Nine

Months ago....

Lance and Keith worked with the Blade for missions, Lance was welcomed into the blade once they found out he had Galra blood and so that Keith could keep him close. Now they were back at the castle but it seems Keith was required to retrieve someone "I wanna go with" Lance whined and Keith sighed "No, you stay here. Stay with either Hunk, Allura, Pidge, Shiro and Coran but do not wander for from there do you hear" Lance pouted, Kolivan suggested Keith for the mission "And above all stay away from Lotor, don't give him an opportunity to get close to you. Neither of us trust him so please stay away from him" Hunk came into the room "Keith Kolivan's asking for you" He called making the couple "Hunk, I have an extremely important favor to ask of you" Keith turned to Hunk as Lance pouted.

He didn't know how long he'd be separated from his Alpha and that was upsetting.

Keith asked that he and Pidge specifically stayed near Lance at all times and have sleepovers every night and to keep Lance insight of their eyes only. "Why is something wrong?" Hunk asked worried "I can't go with Keith" Lance whined the answer while sulking "I won't be gone long and I'll come back to you I promise" Keith rubbed his head but Lance was still sulking. "Also keep him away from Lotor as much as possible" Hunk raised a brow "Why he's nice" Keith shook his head "Neither me or Lance trust him, Lance can read aura's remember? Lotor cannot be trusted" Hunk frowned, it's true Lance can read aura's and that has been proven with the blade and Ulaz. He'd trust Keith and Lance until he solid proof that Lotor wasn't what he seemed but he'd take the request to keep an on Lance to be careful.

"Alright, I'm sure Pidge and Lance would love the idea of a sleepover" Lance perked up "Sleepover? What's that?" Hunk gasped "oh you are going to know what a sleepover is, trust me" Lance was curious on what a sleepover was Keith didn't have sleepovers as a kid but even he knew what it was, he really felt bad for his mate and his childhood. "Alright" Keith placed a kiss on Lance's head then left to the bridge Lance was still sad about Keith going alone but atleast he would get to know what a sleepover was.

Hunk and Lance walked off to find Pidge and give her the news and Keith's favor but also a mission for Lance, Pidge was in the green lions hanger and the paid entered Lance smiled when he seen green and walked over to the lion while Hunk walked over to Pidge who looked at them. "Pidge, Keith asked us a favor specifically us, and we need to do a sleepover mission on Lance" Pidge raised a brow "Why?" She asked "He doesn't know what a sleepover is" Pidge looked behind her to Lance who seemed to be having a conversation with green with his tail wagging "He doesn't - What!" Lance looked in their direction with a head tilt "mission sleepover?" Hunk nodded and reiterated Keith's request and Lance nor trusting Lotor because of his aura.

Pidge had a theory, Lotor had a color to his aura that told Lance he wasn't trustworthy she just wondered which color that was.

Keith was off on his mission the next day and as requested, Pidge and Hunk were near Lance at all times and Lance wore Keith's jacket that had his scent lingering on it.

Hunk and Pidge taught Lance the wonders of a sleepover and that's how they spent their nights in the castle in a cuddle pile, Pidge was usually on Lance's chest while Lance was snuggled up to Hunk. Lotor never got a chance to be near to blue paladin because he was always around the green and yellow paladins at all times so he stuck around Allura for now.

Something unexpected though was about to be revealed in just months away from the Quantum abyss.
