Word traveled quickly that Kurt and Finn's parents were engaged, and it seemed that they were having the wedding sooner rather than later.

Jayden was one of the first people to find out since she had been in the classroom where Burt popped the question. She had never witnessed a proposal before, nor had she ever been to a wedding, which all of the Glee kids were invited to.

She walked down the hallway with Santana, retelling the story with as much detail as she could remember.

"Wait, so he just interrupted the class?" Santana asked. "And the teacher let him?"

"Mhm," Jayden nodded with a smile. "Ms. McAlister is kind of a romance junkie. She had tears in her eyes the whole time."

"That's probably because she's gonna be single and lonely for the rest of her life."

"Sanny, that's mean," Jayden frowned.

"What? It's true," Santana shrugged as they walked into the choir room, frowning when she saw what seemed to be a secret meeting. "Why didn't you tell us that we were having a Glee girls meeting?"

"And why weren't we invited?" Jayden asked, pouting.

"This is a meeting for Glee girls with boyfriends," Rachel said. "We're going to make them stop Karofsky from bullying Kurt."

"I'm dating Puckerman," Santana frowned.

"You're getting naked with Puckerman," Quinn mumbled.

"Besides, Puck can't mess with Karofsky," Tina said. "He's on probation. If he gets in a fight with him, he'll be sent back to juvie."

"Mhm," Rachel hummed, nodding. "Yeah, so now if you'll excuse us."

Santana scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest as she sent Rachel a glare. "You're so on my list, dwarf. Let's go, Jayden."

She took the younger cheerleader's hand and led her out of the choir room.

Everyone listened as the boys told the story of how they confronted Karofsky in the locker room, which had ended in a huge fist fight.

"Dude was a wild animal," Mike shook his head.

"Manimal," Artie said.

"I'm so turned on by you right now," Brittany whispered to the boy, not seeing the way Jayden pouted and hugged her Cheerios letterman closer to her.

"How bad does it look?" Sam asked Quinn.

"It's pretty hot, actually," she said.

"You have no idea how hard it was for me not to jump into that beatdown," Puck said.

"Where were you, Finn?" Santana scoffed, sending the quarterback a glare.

"I was still out on the field," Finn said, clearly lying. "I totally would have given him a beatdown if I had been there, though."

"The fact is, it shouldn't have gone down without you, Finn," Mercedes said. "You should have been leading the charge."

"Lay off Finn, everyone. It isn't his problem," Kurt sighed. "It's none of your problems, actually. But thank you for what you did. Especially Sam."

"Serious," Mike nodded. "An epitome of a leader."

"What's going on?" Mr. Schue asked as he walked into the choir room, frowning. "What happened to Sam's eye?"

"He stood up to Karofsky," Quinn said as she held an ice pack to Sam's head.

"All the guys did," Tina said. "Well, not Finn."
