Sam Evans had been doing some spying on the Dalton Academy Warblers and found out that they had been using artificial growth hormone to gain a competitive edge at sectionals. This information was taken to the Ohio Show Choir Committee, revoking the Warblers' win and giving it to the New Directions by default, meaning that they were on their way to regionals.

"Diva." Ms. Pillsbury turned around to face the choir room full of teens after she was done writing the word in big letters on the whiteboard.

"So now that we're back in the game, we've got to come strong. Diva Week is all about finding your inner powerhouse," Finn announced. He turned to the redhead beside him, motioning for her to take the floor. "Ms. Pillsbury?"

"That's right." Ms. Pillsbury held up a notecard. "The online Urban Dictionary defines a diva as, 'a fierce, often temperamental singer that comes correct. She is not a trick ass ho, and she does not sweat da haters.'"

"This club is actually kinda fun when Mr. Schue isn't here," Leilani smiled, exchanging a look with August.

"I'm gonna bring the Glee Club Hunger Games pain," August declared, tilting her head to the side to pop her neck.

"Great," Jake groaned. "So I guess the guys are screwed this week."

Blaine cleared his throat and scoffed. "Guys can be divas."

"We all have inner divas," Ms. Pillsbury nodded in agreement. "I myself have been considered quite a diva at many a local restaurant because I know what I want, and I will send a dish back."

"You all might as well just quit while you're ahead, because there are only two ways to spell Unique, and one of them is D-I-V-A. Diva," Unique stated as Matti snapped her fingers in agreement with the older sophomore. "Okay? Shantay, I stay. And it will be brought, dished out and served, then mopped up by the time you," she pointed to Tina, "can even pick out a wig. Looking at you, clocking that sadness."

"I have more diva in my little finger than you have in your whole angry inch, Wade Unique," Tina scoffed, wiggling her pinky as she held it up in the air.

"Tina, you've kind of been talking some ridiculous trash for months unchallenged, and that stops now," Marley declared, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Use that finger, use that snap." Ms. Pillsbury snapped her fingers.

"Listen, guys can be divas," Blaine insisted.

"Yeah, sure they can," Iris laughed, rolling her eyes.

"You guys," Brittany spoke up. "Guppy and I are gonna win Diva Week."

"And you know how we know that?" Jayden asked, quirking a brow. "It's because..."

Jayden threaded her fingers through her curled hair, which was still warm from the curling iron. She zipped up her calf-high Doc Martens and put Santana's leather jacket on over her outfit for that evening: a dark red sweater with black stripes and a black skirt with chains that had butterflies on it.

She applied a layer of lipstick, swiping her thumb along her bottom lip to wipe away any extra.
