"If I tell you something...do you promise not to tell anyone?"

"What, you're not pregnant again, are you?"

"What? No," Quinn laughed. "It's...It's about your sister."

"What about my sister?" Jayden asked as she sat up, her loose brunette locks falling over her shoulders. "What did she do this time?"

"That's the thing, she didn't do anything," Quinn sighed, running a hand through her blonde hair. "Um...when did you know that you were...not...straight?"

"Oh my god. You like Rachel!" Jayden gasped, a smile spreading across her face. "I knew it. I totally knew it. You're not fooling anyone. I mean, why else would there be a drawing of her in your notebook with a bunch of hearts?"

"You...You saw that?" Quinn asked, her cheeks flushing bright red.

"Don't worry, I'm not judging," Jayden chuckled. "And I'm not really supposed to tell you this, but Rachel is definitely a little fruity. She was totally checking out Santana's ass the other day. I say you should go for it if things don't work out with Sam."

"No, that's the thing, I can't tell her," Quinn said, hugging her knees to her chest.

"Why not?" Jayden frowned.

"I...may have kissed Finn after the football game," the blonde mumbled.

"You did not!" Jayden gasped. "Quinn, you have a boyfriend!"

"I know, and I feel really bad about it. Even worse than I feel about the not-straight feelings thing."

"Having a crush on a girl is nothing to feel ashamed of," Jayden said as she moved across the bed to be closer to Quinn. "Look at me. I have a crush on two."

"Isn't that confusing?"

"More than you know," Jayden sighed, lowering her gaze. "I feel like I maybe made things worse for myself by not telling them the truth. But any time I try to talk to Santana about it she shuts me up."

"What about with Britt?" Quinn asked.

"She's a little more open about it. You know, feelings and everything. She says with feelings it's better."

"Is that why Brittany's your favorite?" Quinn asked with a small smile.

"I don't have a favorite Brittsy– I-I mean...I don't...I don't play favorites," Jayden stuttered, insecurely wrapping her arms around herself. "I love them both equally."

"Love?" Quinn raised a brow as Jayden's cheeks flushed.

"I...I didn't say that."

"Yes you did."

Jayden whined, hugging her knees to her chest and hiding her face, biting her tongue to keep from crying.

She loved Brittany, and she loved Santana. But even if they felt the same, there was no way that they'd ever be able to be together as the three of them. This was Ohio, not some paradise where they could just be them without getting backlash.

She couldn't even date one of them without getting bullied.

"Hey, it's okay," Quinn said as she put an arm around the smaller girl.

"But it's not okay," Jayden said as she looked up, her ocean eyes filled with tears. "I...I love them...At least I think I do. I don't really know what love is."

"Love is like...It's like, you get all warm and fuzzy inside, and whenever she smiles, it sends butterflies to your stomach. And when she looks at you with those warm brown eyes, even though she's extremely annoying and makes you want to punch her–"
