Jayden hugged Brittany's shoulders as the blonde gave her a piggyback ride into the choir room, holding on even after they were through the threshold. Santana took a picture when Brittany spun around in a circle, smiling softly to herself at the blurred image of both her girls smiling real, genuine smiles – not the fake ones that Jayden had been giving them these last couple months.

"Did someone steal our floor?" Jayden asked, giggling as she slid off of Brittany's back. The tall blonde put an arm around her petite figure, and she hugged her waist, looking up at her with an adorable dimpled smile.

"Don't worry, we'll have it back by the end of the week," Mr. Schue said. "In the meantime, Sue has lent us her–"

"My very own personal, one-of-a-kind, lit-from-within, shatterproof, Plexiglas dance floor," Sue interrupted, finishing the sentence.

"Shatterproof?" Bernadette smirked, wiggling her brows mischievously. "I say we test that and see how accurate it is."

"I say you shut your mouth before I shut it for you," Skye scoffed, holding up a roll of duct tape. "Don't make me use this."

"You wouldn't..."

"Oh, but I would."

"Molded of course, on the dance floor immortalized by a young, musky, John Travolta at the height of his potency, in the legendary dansical Saturday Night Fever."

"Coach Sylvester, while we applaud your proper use of the terminology, we told Mr. Schue we do not support disco in this room," Rachel said.

"Read the shirt, babe," Iris said, motioning between her and Puck's matching Disco Sucks shirts.

"But some of you do," Mr. Schue said. "So, for this week's assignment, we are going back in time to the songs of Saturday Night Fever."

"I'm still waiting for the day when we finally get to have a lesson with Disney songs," Jayden pouted.

"Keep dreaming, kid," Iris scoffed.

Jayden's jaw clenched at being called kid, her nails digging into her palm as she made a tight fist. Santana noticed this and took her hand, lacing their fingers together as she glared at Iris.

There's another person to add to the growing list of people to keep Jayden away from – Finn, Sam, and now Iris.

Maybe Leilani, too. I don't like how close they are.

"What?" Finn groaned. "Come on, Mr. Schue, that's like a record our parents listened to."

"The album, teen Solomon Grundy, is one of the best-selling soundtracks of all time," Sue stated.

"Tony Manero's story is your story," Mr. Schue said. "He's a guy who works at a paint store, struggling to figure out his life, and the only time he feels sure about himself is when he's performing on the dance floor."

"Kinda like you, Guppy," Brittany grinned, tapping Jayden's nose when she smiled up at her.

"He has a dream to get out of his old neighborhood in Brooklyn and get to New York City," Mr. Schue continued. "And by the end of the movie, that's what he's done. He's turned his dream into a plan."

"So, why the dance floor?" Kurt asked.

"Well, Porcelain, because we're going to start with a dance-off," Sue said. "And the winner will receive a replica of John Travolta's iconic white polyester suit, which I am having a cadre of expert Viennese tailors painstakingly reproduce."

The cheerleading coach held up a mini mannequin wearing a white suit. Jayden's jaw dropped, and she instantly looked at Santana.

"Tanny, you'd look so fucking hot in that," she said.
