Jayden furrowed her brows together when she spotted Sam walking out of the boy's bathroom with his hair brushed in front of his face. He was wearing an outfit that looked like it was inspired by Justin Bieber, and he smiled dorkily when he made eye contact with the brunette.

"Hey," Sam grinned as he walked up to her.

"What the hell?" Jayden frowned. "What's with your new look?"

"I'm trying something new to impress Quinn."

"Quinn?"

"Yeah," Sam nodded as he walked with Jayden down the hall. "I don't know, it just kinda feels like she's slipping away. I don't want to lose her to Finn."

"Finn?" Jayden's frown deepened, her brows pulling together.

Why are gay people so complicated?

"You didn't know?" Sam asked as they walked into the choir room. "They both got mono last week. Things have been a little weird since then."

"Hm," Jayden hummed, rubbing her lips together as she looked between Quinn and Rachel.

While Quinn's focus seemed to be on Sam, she could see her casting quick glances to Rachel on the other side of the room. Jayden sighed, shaking her head as she sat down next to Brittany, who gave her a pack of frosted animal crackers.

"Thanks, Britt," Jayden mumbled, forcing a small smile.

"No need to thank me, Guppy," Brittany smiled softly, gently rubbing the younger girl's back. "Are you feeling any better?"

"Yeah," Jayden nodded as she opened up the package and took a bite out of one of the crackers. "My throat's still a little sore, but I've been drinking tea and sucking on cough drops, so that's helped a little."

"Alright, guys," Mr. Schue said, clapping his hands together as he walked into the choir room with Sue. "Let's give a warm welcome to Coach Sylvester. She's going to be joining us this week."

Jayden choked on an animal cracker, her eyes widening in shock as the whole club protested.

"This cannot be happening," Tina grumbled, her eyes narrowing.

"This seems like a terrible idea," Artie said.

"Guys, it's not up for discussion," Mr. Schue said. "Now, it's no secret that Coach Sylvester has taken her licks."

"I mean...just wanky," Santana said as Jayden giggled.

"And I believe that she could use a little sympathy from us."

"Okay," Jayden nodded. She turned around in her chair and smiled at the cheer coach. "Good afternoon, Coach Sylvester. Your tracksuit looks really nice."

"Sympathy?" Mercedes scoffed. "From us? Uh uh."

"Yeah, all she's ever done is make our lives miserable," Quinn agreed.

"After what she did to Jayden, she got exactly what she deserved," Santana said, crossing her arms over her chest.

"You're lucky I left my blowgun's at home, airbags, because I got a clear shot at your nonnies," Sue taunted as Santana's jaw dropped, her brows pulling together.

"Guys," Mr. Schue warned. "Coach Sylvester has had her recent setbacks, but she is a proven champion. We could do worse than to have that kind of winning record in our midst."

"Let me break it down for you," Sue said. "I am no longer a threat to you people. I'm just hoping that your singing and dancing around will pull me out of my doldrums and give me a reason to live. Is that too much to ask?"
