"Five, six, seven, eight, nine..." Mr. Schue counted the members of the New Directions, a small frown tugging on his lips when he noticed a few members weren't there. "Uh, are Joe, Sugar, and Jayden here?"

"Present, Mr. Schue," Sugar announced as she walked into the room with Joe.

"Where's Jayden?" the teacher asked.

"She's with her mom, but she'll be here soon," Joe said as he and Sugar sat down.

"Great. Okay. Guys, I have finalized our set-list," Mr. Schue began. "We are going with I Love It by Icona Pop. Hall of Fame by The Script and will.i.am. And Marley's original song, All or Nothing."

Brittany walked into the choir room with Jayden and Cassandra. "Hey, Mr. Schue, what about my original song?" she asked, nudging her girlfriend with a small laugh. "Do you remember?"

"My cup, my cup," Jayden sang along with Brittany. "Saying what's up to my cup, my cup."

"Do I even want to know what that song is about?" Cassie asked with a small chuckle.

"Absolutely not," Jayden shook her head, laughing as she exchanged a look with Brittany.

"My Cup is one of a kind, but we're going with Marley's song," Mr. Schue declared.

"Oh, come on," Brittany groaned, rolling her eyes. "Boo. Two thumbs down. The only way to polish that turd of a song is with my angelic alto voice. So, I demand to sing it as a solo. And, I demand to sing all the good songs as solos. Everyone can snap their fingers and march around behind me," Brittany declared as she walked towards the middle of the choir room. "Tina, please make an exact replica of Jennifer Lawrence's Oscar dress."

"Um, no?" Tina frowned, her brows pulling together as she exchanged a look with Jayden, who just shrugged.

"Um, yes. Let me break it down. No one in this musty choir room compares to my megawatt star power," Brittany stated. "Blaine, you're shorter than your average lawn gnome. Joe, you look like a Yucatán spider monkey. Sam, your lips are 10 times too big for your face. And Tina is...You know, she's Tina."

"Brittsy, you're being mean," Jayden pouted, frowning deeply when the blonde took out her phone with a roll of her eyes. "Would you stop texting? I'm trying to talk to you. That's really rude." Her phone buzzed, and she took it out of her pocket, her heart sinking faster than the Titanic when it hit the iceberg. "Did you really just break up with me over text? That's worse than Santana dumping us with Taylor Swift!"

"Yeah," Brittany nodded. "As much as I love you, you tend to be childish at times...all the time...and I'm an adult. I don't have time to babysit needy 17 year olds. So, sorry/not sorry." She began to walk towards the door, her arms folded across her chest. "Moving on. I repeat, I require all the solos. That's just the way it's gonna be."

"Brittany, why are you doing this?" Mr. Schue frowned.

"Well, I'm just living your lesson, Mr. Schue. It's all or nothing," Brittany said before turning on her heel and leaving the room. "All or nothing!"

Jayden exhaled slowly, tears burning in her eyes. She felt a hand on her back and leaned into her mom, her stomach twisting.

"What the hell just happened?" Skye gasped, her heart shattering.

"We're single now, bitch," Bernadette grumbled, rolling her eyes.
