Six misfits danced and sang to Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat, much like they had at their first Glee Club rehearsal three years ago. Jayden smiled through the happy tears in her eyes. The New Directions had all come so far since then.
They did jazz hands as they finished the song, and the rest of the club cheered.
"That was the most ghetto number I have ever seen," Santana chuckled as a giggling Oliver sat in her lap, clapping his little hands together.
"Thank you." Jayden smiled and took a small bow.
"Then just call me George Jefferson," Artie said, holding his hands up. "Because we went from the ghetto to the penthouse. National champs, baby!"
Everyone clapped and cheered, not noticing as Mr. Schue walked in and wrote Goodbye on the board in big letters.
Jayden sat down in between Santana and Brittany. She hugged the blonde's waist and leaned her head onto her shoulder.
"This week's assignment is easy," Mr. Schue said. "Graduation is just a few days away. There's nothing left to prepare for. Our work here is done, so there's only one thing left to do...Say goodbye."
"Nooo!" Jayden whined, hugging Brittany tighter as Santana smiled sadly and kissed the top of Oliver's head.
"Underclassmen, pick some songs to say goodbye to the seniors. Seniors, pick a song to say goodbye to us."
"A part of me just wants to lock these doors and stay in here with everyone forever," Mercedes said sadly.
"We can use the wastebasket for the toilet, and then we could eat Joe for the food since she's been here the shortest, so we know her the least," Brittany shrugged.
"I really hope you're about to rap," Quinn chuckled sadly when she noticed Mr. Schue tuning his guitar.
"No such luck," the teacher laughed a little. "I'm leading by example here. This one is for you guys."

Burt Hummel had reached out to Jayden and Brittany, asking their help in giving Kurt his graduation present. They had spent the whole morning in the auditorium teaching him the Single Ladies dance, and now they were waiting backstage until he cued them to come out.
Kurt opened the door and came in. "Dad, why on earth did you want to meet me in here?" he asked as he walked down towards the stage. He suddenly stopped, gasping. "Oh, my God. My NYADA letter came, didn't it?"
"Not yet," Burt said from where he sat with his legs dangling over the edge of the stage. "Sit down. I want to give you your graduation present."
"Is Elaine Stritch here?" Kurt asked, smiling.
"I don't know who that is," Burt frowned. "See, this is the problem with getting you gifts. I can't make heads or tails about what it is you like."
"Dad, I'm easy," Kurt said as he sat down in the first row of seats in the audience. "Just get me something from Tom Ford's Vanities in Vanity Fair."
"Good to know," Burt nodded. "So, somewhere around your seventh birthday, I lost you. Before that, you were a normal kid. I mean, a kid who liked to dust, but...You know, I read you to bed. I put cartoons on the TV when you were bored. I taught you how to ride a bike. Normal stuff. And then you turned seven or eight, and you start to become this. And, uh, it was like I was living with an alien. I mean, I tried to keep up, but, uh, you know, once your mom passed, I...I really...I didn't stand a chance."
