Jayden was beginning to adjust to Santana not being around all the time; it only took, like, four months, but she was starting to get used to the distance. She and Brittany still missed her like crazy, and they wished she was in Lima instead of Louisville, but things were starting to look up, even if it was just for a little while.

The pair walked down the hallway with Oliver on Brittany's hip and her pinky linked with Jayden's. They were glad that they had each other to lean on in this difficult time – Jayden didn't know what she would've done if they both left her, and part of her was happy that Brittany got held back.

The blonde frowned when she spotted Blaine at the bulletin boards, where all the sign up sheets for the clubs were pinned up. "What do you think you're doing, Blaine Warbler?"

"Bao gee," Oliver mumbled, scrunching his brows when he saw Blaine's name written under his Mama Bri's on one of the sign up sheets. "Mama." He gently pulled on Jayden's letterman and pointed to the paper.

"Oh, you female dog," Jayden muttered, narrowing her eyes at Blaine. "How dare you. What do you have to say for yourself?"

"I'm running for president," Blaine declared with a smile.

"Okay, as you all know, as national champions, we get to host the annual Show Choir Rules Committee meeting," Mr. Schue said as that afternoon's Glee Club rehearsal began.

"Please tell me you're gonna ask what one-third vintage meant last year," Tina was quick to speak up.

"Yeah, or like why some teams get to sing six songs and others only do one," Sam added.

"Speaking of competitions, shouldn't we start, like, preparing for ours?" Leilani asked.

"Something I've learned from watching these people from the outside for three years is that they always wait until the last minute to come up with a set-list," August mumbled around her coffee cup.

"I have some ideas, which I am working on. Very hard," Mr. Schue said. The New Directions stared at him blankly as they waited for an answer. "Um...Well, I don't really wanna give anything away right now..."

From where they were sitting on a play mat with Oliver, Matti, Julia, and Lyla tuned Mr. Schue's voice out as they continued to play with the 10 month old baby. They were showing him flashcards with easy words on them, and he was rewarded with a yogurt melt whenever he said something close to what that word was, which was really just them rewarding him for his adorable babbling.

"Excuse me." Brittany spoke up and raised her hand.

"Yes, go ahead," Mr. Schue motioned for her to continue.
