The hospital doors swung open, a group of teens rushing in pushing a small brunette in a wheelchair.

"Tanny, it hurts so bad!" Jayden sobbed, holding Santana's hand tightly.

"Breathe, okay? Everything's gonna be fine," Santana tried to reassure her. She had no idea what she was supposed to say, and she was freaking out just as much as Jayden was.

"Excuse me?" Rachel ran up to one of the doctors and pointed at Jayden. "My little sister's having a baby."

"Right this way." The female doctor motioned for them to follow her.

"I'll call your dads," Quinn said as she pulled her phone out of her pocket.

"You can't all go in there." Another doctor held his hand out to Brittany and Santana, stopping them from entering the hospital room where they were getting Jayden changed into a hospital gown.

"That's our girlfriend," Santana spat, shoving the man's hand away. "We're going in, and you can't stop us."

"Santana's the baby daddy!" Brittany called over her shoulder as she followed Santana into the hospital room, where Jayden was laying on the bed, a pained look on her face.

Jayden whimpered, tears streaming down her face. "Fuck, I think I'm dying."

"She's not strong enough to push him out," one of the doctors said. "We're gonna have to perform an emergency C section."

"You're gonna slice my stomach open?!"

"It's better than risking you dying during birth."

"I could die?!" Jayden's eyes widened in fear when she spotted the giant needle in the nurse's hand. "What...What is that? What are you doing?"

"Jayden, look at me." Santana gently grabbed Jayden's face, forcing her attention away from the needle they needed to give her a shot in her spine. She looked over her girlfriend's terrified features, and did her best to remain calm for her sake. "Everything's gonna be fine. They're gonna give you something to help with the pain, and they'll put you under something so you fall asleep. You're gonna be fine, and it'll be over before you know it, okay?"

"I don't wanna die," Jayden sobbed.

"You're not going to, baby." Santana took her hand and laced their fingers together. She kissed her forehead, shutting her eyes tight to hold back tears.

Jayden cried out in pain as the needle was stuck in her spine, her hold on Santana's hand tightening. She could see her and Brittany's lips moving as they talked to her, but she couldn't hear anything they were saying.

She was laid back against the bed, and her sister and girlfriends were ushered out of the room by a nurse. Her breathing steadied, and she leaned her head back against the pillow.

The last thing she saw before her eyes shut completely was herself staring down at her with an evil grin. "Light's out," the hallucination whispered.

And then everything went black.

December 9, 2011. The day that Jayden Berry's life changed forever.

She held her newborn son close to her as she laid emotionless on the hospital bed. She was still a little tired from whatever the doctor's had given her that knocked her out, but the hard part was over.

She exhaled slowly through her mouth before finally looking at the small baby boy in her arms. He looked up at her with big, curious blue orbs that looked just like her own. She smiled a little, tears filling her eyes.
