The holy fire danced inside the glazed irises, reflecting the ashened memories caged onto the walls of their heart. Her blacks and his grays were fixated on the same fire, eyes burned with the rush of tears, yet they couldn't blink. The wedding chants vibrated in the hall, but the broken hearts couldn't fathom them.
Ruhanika and Anurag sat there, taking steps towards being one but all Mehak could focus was on the remnant of her own marriage. They were at the same place, three years ago, her blushing with smiles, him with his ever playful smirks and successful attempts of making her cherry. They were so happy, so in bliss.
