A slap around the face.

"Disgusting."

A punch to the gut.

"Worthless."

A kick to the chest.

"Piece of shit."

Pip doubled over and fell onto his knees, avoiding the cruel eyes of his attacker. He curled into a ball and was kicked again hard, blood flying from his mouth. He collapsed onto the floor and covered his head with his hands, trying to catch his breath before he was winded once again.

Pip rolled over as he stirred back into consciousness, feeling the lull of a clock ticking nearby. He shook off his lingering memories and yawned. He stretched his legs out before bringing them into a tucked position up to his stomach, noting how comfortable the bed was.

Wait... BED?

Pip squeaked and shot upright, doing a little bounce on the mattress. He didn't remember getting into any bed so he'd obviously been put there by someone, which freaked him out further. He looked warily at his new surroundings, not knowing where he was or what he was doing there. The room he was in looked bland and untidy. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was a distinct smell of rat crap wafting over from the far corner of the room. Unkempt, messy and smelly, it was Pip's idea of hell.

Reminded him of his old home, too.

A slither of pain shot through the Brit's body and Pip abruptly remembered the stress of being tackled over and over again. That was right, he'd been used as a tackling dummy! His torso screamed at him, reminding him of being dove at, yanked to his feet and knocked over again. It had been Coach. Clyde. Token. Craig. Kenny.

Kenny?

Kenny!

He suddenly remembered Kenny picking him up. Hauling him over his shoulder. Taking him... home?

Oh no! I'm at Kenny's house!

He panicked quietly, beginning to shake. What... had happened? Why had Kenny done this? He knew Kenny didn't really care about him but for some reason he felt indebted to Pip. Was that the reason?

You're in a house again. Please don't panic because you're going to make it obvious.

He let out a tense breath and closed his eyes tightly. It couldn't be real. He couldn't actually be here! Why would Kenny kidnap him so casually? What would Mysterion think? He imagined he was back in his alley. He just had to be!

Pip opened his eyes to find nothing had changed, aside from the fact he now had an audience. A little girl's cheerful face was casually resting on the bottom of the bed, hazel eyes innocently staring at him.

Not expecting to see anyone in the room or that close to him so suddenly, Pip jumped violently, hugging himself in a protective manner. The girl looked harmless enough so Pip tried to relax, figuring it was Kenny's sister he'd heard so much about. She probably wouldn't be as mean as him.

Hopefully.

"H-Hello." he greeted politely, bowing his head.

Her eyes lit up. "You're really cute!"

He immediately blushed and shook his head, not expecting to be suddenly complimented and especially not by one as nice as that. He wasn't cute at all. She was being much too generous. "T-Thank you, miss..." he nervously fondled the bed sheets.

"You're welcome! It's so nice to meet you!" she exclaimed, "My name is Karen. What's yours?"

"It's Pip..."
