Why... would he help me?
The irritating thought was plaguing Pip's thoroughly stressed out mind as he walked to Clyde's house that same evening. He still hadn't gotten over the fact Kenny had actually helped him, even though Pip practically insulted him to his face the day before.
He folded his arms. He was just too tired to think and was really confused, wanting the evening to be over with already. He'd never been invited to a party before, even if the invite had been more of a threat. He just needed to remain invisible the whole time so nobody would notice him.
As he approached Clyde's house, Pip straightened his bow tie and tried to ignore the gnawing in his stomach. Music could be heard reverberating around the neighbourhood as Pip walked closer to the house, the sounds of merry teenagers laughing and splashing in and around the pool at the back as they partied under the moonlight.
Pip stood outside the gate leading to Clyde's back garden and let out a sigh, trying to think positive about the situation. He'd been starved of human interaction all his life and he was now attending a party where teenagers interacted with other teenagers, like normal teenagers did.
Normal, non-weird teenagers.
Did this make him normal now?
"Are you going in or not?" came an annoyed voice from behind Pip.
Pip tensed up and quickly pushed the gate door open, walking into the open space that was Clyde's garden. Amongst the waves and waves of strangers he noticed a few of his classmates chilling around the side of the pool. Stan, Kyle and Cartman were there, as well as Bebe, Red, Heidi, Token, Jimmy, Kevin, Bradley, Tweek and Craig; the latter two snogging on one of the pool loungers.
Pip wedged himself in a dark corner on the patio away from all of the action, quietly observing everyone having fun. He watched their expressions carefully and saw them checking the social media apps on their phones as they binge-drank various different alcopops laid out on the tables.
After watching them for a bit, Pip decided that Clyde had probably invited him to the party as a way of showing him just how unpopular he was. Showing him what the popular kids got up to.
"Hey look, Frenchie's here!"
Pip went rigid at hearing one of the girls say his cruel nickname.
"Oh who cares, it's only Pip!"
"What? Pip's here?"
The crowd of students suddenly got more excited. The uncoolest person ever at a party? It was worth seeing that in person!
Pip shrank back against the wall but quickly found himself being dragged towards the pool by a few of the boys in his year, who then shoved him into it for a laugh. When Pip resurfaced he latched onto the side of the pool with a cough, then looked up to see Clyde standing with his arms folded right in front of him.
"I can't believe you actually had the balls to turn up here, pussy." he laughed.
Pip coughed again and subserviently bowed his head.
"Enjoying the party?" Bebe purred from behind her new beau.
Pip just nodded.
"Get him in the uniform, Clyde!" Craig called out from his lounger, causing a great smile to light up Clyde's face.
"Come with me, Pip." he smirked.

Kenny was sitting indoors on the couch, swirling his wine around in his flute glass, pondering the situation he found himself in. Clyde had invited him to this dumbass party but the blonde teenager really wasn't in the mood for it today. He just had too much on his mind.
