The end of period bell chimed loudly and all of the kids were standing ready at their desks to be released for break time. Kenny glanced around the room for any signs of Pip, who still hadn't turned up since the locker incident. As they were dismissed, Kenny walked with his friends down the corridor. They were laughing and joking around but Kenny found himself feeling nauseous. He felt incredibly bad for snapping at Pip and knew the Brit was probably feeling awful. The fact that he hadn't returned to class worried him.
"You okay, Kenny?" Kyle asked, noticing the distant look on his face.
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine thanks."
"You sure?" Stan added. "You've been like this pretty much all day. Did something happen at home?"
Kenny felt himself reddening at their support. "Uh, yeah, something like that."
"Wanna talk about it?"
He decided to distract them. "Um... well, yeah. I kinda said something horrible to... my sister earlier. I can't stop thinking about it."
"Your sister, huh? Don't worry about it, dude. You know how much she loves you. All you have to do is apologize and things should work out okay. That usually works with Ike." Kyle smiled.
Kenny nodded and the three strode into the busy canteen. It was packed with students but after a quick glance Kenny registered that Pip wasn't there either. So where was he?
Calm down. I can't believe you're almost panicking over that dork.
He took a deep breath and sat down next to his friends, hoping that Pip wasn't feeling too bad about himself, wherever he was.
~~~~~
Pip was having a whale of a time.
On leaving the storage room, he'd limped halfway to lesson when the bell had rung for break. So to avoid the crowds he walked the opposite way around the school and accidently ran into the popular girls, who had dragged him to the girls' toilets to make fun of him. He'd been forced up onto the sink and they all stood around it laughing at him.
"Heard you ran into Craig's locker!" Bebe chortled. "Sounds about right for an idiot like you."
Pip lowered his head and tightened his grip on his legs.
"And another thing - you got two answers on my homework wrong! I told you what would happen if you did!" Red scowled.
"I-I'm sorry, I was tired."
"I'm tired too! Tired of your shit!"
The girls started laughing at him. He just stared at the door behind them.
"Hey Frenchie, we've been thinking - since you look so much like a girl, why don't you just dress like one, huh? At least you'll be more appealing." Heidi suggested, yanking his cap off his head.
Pip went to grab it back but Red slapped his hand away. The force of it knocked his hand into Lola.
"Don't touch me!" she squealed, drawing her arm away.
Pip went to apologize but Lola ignored him, taking his hat from Red and throwing it into the toilet. He stared helplessly as his prized possession fell into the murky abyss.
Bebe smirked, "Hey, that's a great idea, Lola!"
Pip caught onto their drift quickly but the girls were faster. They yanked Pip off of the basin and dragged him towards the open cubicle. He tried to push back against them but didn't want to hurt them.
"Come on you piece of shit!"
"Down you go!"
The girls forced him to double oved and were about to shove his head into the toilet bowl when the restroom door swung open, causing the girls to pause. Wendy walked around the corner and was surprised to see her friends crowding around Pip.
