Pip was feeling moderately better today.

Mysterion had declared that they were still friends and wouldn't take no for an answer, which made Pip feel special. Nobody had ever made him feel special before and it felt rather nice. It made a change from being spoken down to, anyway! Smiling to himself, Pip walked down the corridor until he saw Clyde's gang crowded around their lockers just up ahead from him. Not wanting to walk past them and get hollered at, Pip hid in a crevice next to the wheelchair ramp, only to find Cartman and Kenny were standing there talking. He turned to leave but was instantly pulled back by Cartman.

"Hey Pipsqueak! Haven't seen much of you lately! Still a fucking dork?"

Pip nodded and tried pulling away, but Cartman had none of it.

"Come on, calm down. Calm down. I'm not gonna hurt ya." he mocked, pinning Pip's arms to his sides with his own arm. "Stop moving, shithead!"

The blonde stilled himself and looked up at the duo with fear in his eyes.

Kenny stared at the little blonde impassively, before turning to Cartman, "Normally I'd say go ahead and beat him up for whatever he's done to you, but we actually have a personal arrangement now." Kenny yanked Pip forward by his arm, not releasing his firm grip. "He's my tutor."

Cartman smirked, "Is that right? I don't know why you're putting yourself through it, Kenny. He's a complete loser."

"A complete loser who's actually kind of useful to me because he's smart so can fix my grades." Kenny deadpanned. "But if he doesn't want to go with me he's all yours. What do you say, Frenchie?"

Pip looked at Kenny with wide eyes. "I-I'll go with you."

"Good." Kenny shoved Pip forward. "Later, Cartman."

"Later."

"Come on, dipshit." Kenny shoved Pip roughly down the corridor, practically holding him hostage. Despite his hostility he was inwardly feeling good about rescuing the Brit.

The two arrived at the library shortly thereafter. Kenny manoeuvred Pip across the room and into a seat, dumping himself on a seat opposite him. "Alright, round two for studying. Go."

Pip tried to catch his breath. "I-I don't have any of my books on me."

Kenny facepalmed. "Well shit. For fuck's sake, Pip, you could have told me that when we were by the lockers!"

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't know you wanted me to tutor you now." he gulped.

"Read my mind next time."

"Okay?"

"That was a joke."

"Oh."

Kenny sighed. "I guess you're free to go then. Bye."

Pip looked up, "But..."

"I said bye! Leave already, you fucking idiot!" Kenny snapped.

Pip nodded and quickly scarpered. Kenny remained in his lazy slouch and watched him go, pleased that he'd saved him from at least one beating today.

It actually sort of worked, too.

Pip was left alone during the rest of the morning. Everyone had decided to ignore him instead of picking on him today, but he didn't mind. He preferred to be left alone. Well, he sometimes did. It was honestly a strange one. He was so lonely but liked the solitude if it meant nobody would pick on him. But since everyone picked on him, he was always alone.

It was the start of lunchtime and Pip found himself hiding in the school theatre. He was sitting on the stage behind the theatre curtains, directly out of sight so nobody would be able to tell he was there. The blonde sighed and hugged his knees. He was feeling scared and he didn't know why. Nobody was around to get him at the moment but he just felt really on edge for some reason. He could feel his panic rising and swallowed it back down as best he could, not fancying to be found having a panic attack on stage.
