This story is rated M for a good reason and it's going to dive headfirst into it. It will be a much darker story than the last one. Just as a forewarning.

Sebastian- every time we touch by jonathon young

————————

It had been a few days since the last day of school when the owl came from Hecat. She thought he was ready.

Sebastian was reluctant to leave the house, the odd tension still in the air since the final day of school. Diane insisted she was fine, but there was something off about her, something she wouldn't say. It was frustrating, considering they had promised to be more open with each other. He didn't know what to do about it... and neither did Ominis.

He tried to put that from his mind as he apparated just outside school grounds, walking down the road toward the small hut Hecat had told him to meet at.

"Ah, Mr Sallow." Professor Hecat smiled when he approached. "I trust your first days of summer break are going well?"

"Well enough." Sebastian sighed. "I'm ready when you are."

Hecat tilted her head a bit in curiosity at his weary demeanor but nodded, walking over into the large fireplace with him. "Ministry of Magic!" She shouted, the green flames surrounding them as they transported again into the ministry.

Sebastian knew to move forward out of the fireplace now, another person almost immediately appearing behind them as they walked into the atrium.

"I hope Mr Gaunt and Miss Walsh are faring well?" Hecat chatted as they walked over to the elevator.

"Diane seems upset about something but won't tell either of us." Sebastian sighed. "It's frustrating."

"Mmm, these things often are. Try to be patient with her." Hecat smiled, both of them holding the bar above them as the elevator whizzed backward before flying up to the next level. With a soft ding it said 'Department of Mysteries' as they walked out of the golden gate of the elevator.

"We will need to register you with Archinald, first. This may be the first of many times you visit this room. If you are successful in your visit, then you may return as often as you like on your own." Hecat said as they walked down the hallway of black marble floors, up to the desk that sat just before the large vaulted room behind it.

"Hello again, Hecat. Back with the new lad?"

"Indeed." Hecat nodded. "I believe he is ready to enter the room."

"Dinah... he's so young."

"Not that young, Archinald. How old were you when you met Lucy?" Hecat smiled.

Archinald grumbled slightly and nodded. "About his age."

"Indeed." Hecat gave a knowing grin. "So he's not so young."

Archinald sighed and leaned on his desk in frustration "alright, it's not like we've had any other prospects for that room." He looked back to Sebastian, suddenly all business as he stood up and walked around the desk.

"Tell me lad, what do you think is behind that door?" Archinald said in a solemn tone.

"I don't know." Sebastisn said softly, glancing down the hall toward where he knew it was. "But it felt powerful, and I could hear my name from inside."

"She called to you?!" Archinald's brows rose in shock. He glanced over to Hecat, who looked rather smug.

"Very well. That's all the answer I needed. What do you know about the department of mysteries, boy?"
