This chapter will be a bit shorter because the next one will be longer.

It had taken a few days for everything to calm down from the arrival of Anne, and the night of chaos at the house. Once Sebastian was helping Anne unpack at their parents' house, Ominis took the opportunity to suggest something to Diane.
"I want to go out." He said, taking her hand hopefully. "We've been... things have been so chaotic lately. I just want a quiet night. Just us." He was grateful for the solitude, especially with Diane being so stressed out lately from everything happening.
"That sounds really nice. Maybe... we should go stargazing again?" She smiled. "I can show you more constellations, there are different ones out in the summer compared to fall."
He smiled warmly, sighing happily at the idea. "Yeah, let's do that."
Once the sun set they set out for the side of the hill, Ominis laying down in the grass and Diane joining him, their heads resting together as she linked fingers with him like she'd done before.
"What do you want to see? Any in particular?" She asked softly, moving her head to the side to kiss his temple sweetly.
"Tell me about Serpens again." He said with a little smile.
"Such a slytherin." She chuckled, kissing the back of his hand before raising it up to point toward the constellation. "Right there is the first snake, here's Ophiuchus, who holds the snakes, and here's the second snake."
"Who's Ophiuchus?" Ominis asked softly.
"The god of medicine, a son of Apollo." She said, smiling that he liked that legend so much. "He was known for his herbal remedies."
"Two snakes and someone who likes plants." He smiled wryly. "Sounds familiar."
"I'm hardly a healer." She giggled in amusement. But it was true. It was oddly similar.
"You heal in your own way." He said softly, kissing the back of her hand again and making her blush.
"What's there?" He asked, pointing up randomly into the sky.
"Ursa major, the great bear constellation. This right here," she motioned toward the stars of the head. "Is the Big Dipper. It's shaped like a ladle. If you follow the line of the two stars on the cup of the ladle it always points to the North Star."
"That's the one that doesn't move?"
"Yeah, it always stays in the same spot, and the rest of the stars rotate around it." She looked over to him with a smile. "You can use it to guide you where you're going, because it always stays in the same place."
He let out a deep hum of thought, greatly enjoying the stargazing again. "We should do this more often." He said softly.
"We can do it as much as you'd like, love." Diane smiled warmly.
Ominis blushed happily that she'd called him love, closing his eyes to savor the moment with her. He had a bad feeling in his gut about something... which is why he was so adamant about wanting to come out tonight. He wanted to spend time with her in their little paradise, before whatever was coming sent everything into chaos again.

Sebastian came to the Ministry on his own this time, his stroll into the Department of Mysteries with purpose as his boots made soft sounds against the black marble floors.
He approached the desk that lay before the hallway and stopped in front of it. "Good afternoon, Archinald."
The man looked up and saw Sebastian, his eyes widening. "You've done quite well for your first meeting. Already back again?"
