Diane looked up to the slowly rotating repository, a pit settling in her stomach at the sight of it. Just looking at it made her feel queasy and anxious, a soft sound coming from her as she put a hand to her stomach when it lurched uncomfortably.

"What's wrong?" Ominis softly, the uncomfortable sound catching his attentions as he moved over to her, setting a hand against her hip.

"This place brings back bad memories." She whispered softly. "Lots of them." The repository beneath Hogwarts, the memory of Professor Fig dying, the battle with Ranrok and then Sebastian almost getting killed.

Sebastian was wandering the halls of the old Forsaken base to make sure there wasn't any recent activity. The only people who knew about this chamber were them, Talon who was dead, and a few other members who had sided with Talon and had been killed as well.

Hopefully that meant this chamber would remain a secret... but she had a feeling word had gotten out regardless.

"I know, I don't like it here either." He said softly, wrapping his arms around her reassuringly. "But we won't be here for long. Just to plan what to do to keep this out of anyone else's hands."

She looked back up to the repository as she leaned into Ominis, the object seeming more like an enemy than anything else. It had been what had caused so much suffering in her life. She wished she could just find a way to destroy it and the corrupted magic, but if the keepers had never found a way she doubted she would be able to.

"I think I may try to build a permanent structure around it." Diane said softly, thinking back to the trials and how difficult they'd been to get through. That would keep anyone but her and the people with her out of this place. She would have to do the same below Hogwarts as well. Have her own sort of little trials. Maybe she could involve plants as well... lots of devil's snare and her hybrids. She'd have to put permanent lights and ways to feed them, too. Then let them grow rampant so they would deter almost anyone else.

"I won't be able to help much with that, but I'll be sure to remind you not to overdo things." Ominis smiled against her, still holding her to reassure her. They still had a lot of issues to work through... especially with all these close calls they'd had. They'd never really worked through any of it, just... tried to ignore that it had happened.

He tightened his grip around her at the thought of almost losing her to her family. Yeah... they needed to work through this, before they got more serious in their relationship. It wasn't healthy to have this all hanging over them. He knew Sebastian had issues with things as well, for however good he was at hiding them. That had been obvious when he was so shocked that Diane wanted children with him as well. To think that he was in such a close relationship with her, and still didn't think she'd want that with him...

And with his family still remaining eerily silent... something just felt so wrong about that. He knew Marvolo had been involved with the Walsh family, but he didn't know to what extent, or why. Something just seemed so wrong. He didn't like not knowing what was happening. What were they waiting for? Why were they waiting? What were they expecting?

"I wish we could keep going to the alcove when school ends." Diane chuckled softly. "We'll have to find a new 'talk things over' spot to go to." She sighed.

"A lot of things will change." He said softly against her curls. "But change can be good. Especially in this case."

Their roles had been all but cemented in by this point. Sebastian wasn't good with emotions and feelings, but he protected them both from outside threats. Diane was the supportive one who helped both him and Sebastian deal with their past and present traumas, and not judging them for decisions they've made. He was good at making sure Diane and Sebastian didn't overdo themselves, and he was much better at dealing with emotions than either of them were. Between the three of them they supported each other and made each other whole. Though he seemed to be the dominant one, emotionally. However ironic that was, considering his past.
