((Not me rereading Love's vision for Ominis and almost crying because I know the pieces falling into place lol this is so fun))

Sebastian had traveled to Killin to the library last week, able to finally find what he was looking for after quite a bit of searching. He hated being so secretive with Ominis and Diane, but he really did need to research some things before he made a decision.

"Hey Sebastian." Garreth approached him at the table at lunch while he read the book, Ominis at his training at the Ministry and Diane dividing cuttings for her hybrid for the finals approaching. It was in the last few months of the semester now, but he was far more focused on after school.

He looked up to Garreth over the top of his book, trying not to get too angry when Garreth read the title.

"Our Social Customs?" Garreth grinned wryly. "Trying to be a bit more civilized, are we?"

Sebastian flushed a bit with embarrassment. "Shut it, Garreth. What did you need?" He grumbled.

"Do you have any more of those apple cinnamon slices over here?" He looked across the table for them and made a little 'aha!' before grabbing them. "Do you mind?"

"No...?" Sebastian raised a brow curiously. "Why don't you eat the ones you have?"

"We did." Garreth chuckled. "Anne seems to really like them though, can't get enough of them. She told me to come ask you for some."

Sebastian looked over to his twin curiously, and saw she was talking to Poppy while eating a piece of apple pie. More apple? What the fuck?

"Huh. Well, yeah go ahead if she wants it, I don't mind." Sebastian shrugged.

"Thanks." Garreth grinned, starting to walk away with the dish before turning back around. "Almost forgot- Poppy said Danny wants to talk with you."

"About what?" Sebastian said curiously.

"I guess something about watching the kids?" Garreth shrugged.

Ah. That made sense. "Alright, I'll make a short trip to Killin. I need to talk to him too." He said, glancing down at the page he was open to. This part was a bit confusing to him. But Danny would know what it was about.

Why did there have to be so many damn rules? It was infuriating. The fact that Ominis had to learn all this as a child... ugh he couldn't imagine it.

When to write cards to people, when not to visit, when to cross a street to avoid someone, how to properly start conversations with people of higher status. It made him want to gag with all the rules there were for wealthy people. Thank Merlin no one ever expected any of this of him.

He closed the book gently and sighed, because even this book- the third he'd tried- didn't have the information he needed, which was aggravating because it had just been published. Ugh.
