It was time.

This wouldn't be easy, but it was necessary for what was to come. They wanted a future together, all three of them, and that meant their relationship would have to be rock solid to deal with the trials they knew were ahead of them with their roles as the keeper and her supporters.

"Where are we going?" Diane asked as Ominis led them along the coastline outside of Feldcroft, the ocean lapping at the beach a short distance away as they walked along the sand.

"You'll see." Ominis said cryptically as he walked ahead of them with his wand out, occasionally looking at the cliffside before moving on.

"I think I have an idea where... but why are we going there?" Sebastian asked in confusion.

"We needed a new spot to have these talks, since we're graduating soon and won't have the alcove anymore." Ominis explained, before making a small 'aha' noise when he found the small cave and walked toward it.

"Oh, I almost forgot about this cave." Diane said as she walked toward it, remembering fleeing here the night Ominis had rejected her. But why here?

"I haven't." Ominis said softly. "I've thought about this place often. I figure it's secluded, no one goes here, and it means something to us. Also bonus, it's close to the house." He said as he walked through the narrow corridor into the large open room at the end of the cave. "Plus I've been working on this. Lumos."

Diane gasped as the soft light from his wand showed glittering gems reflecting the light along the walls, the sparkles and refractions of the gems casting small reflections over everything inside the cave. It was beautiful!

"I've heard gemstones reflect light, so I transmogrified the stone to have gemstones along the walls of the cave. Not sure what types they are, since I don't really know what they look like other than their shape."

"They're all sorts of colors." Diane said breathlessly at the sight. "It's beautiful, Ominis."

"You really outdid yourself." Sebastian said, looking around as well.

"I'm glad you two like it." Ominis smiled, taking a small sphere out of his pack he'd brought and setting the tip of his wand against it so it would glow softly. "Nox." He put his wand out, so the only light in the cave came from the softly flickering orb that seemed to mimic candlelight.

"Why are we doing the weirdly soft atmosphere, Ominis? What's going on?" Sebastian asked warily.

"Because we're going to talk." Ominis said firmly, and with a sudden movement cast a shield at the entrance to the room. It blocked out some of the sounds of the waves outside, making it far more quiet.

"I've been neglecting my role because I was worried it was overstepping... but now I see what needs to be done. Sebastian, today is all about you. Diane will be later."

Diane shifted anxiously, glad she wasn't first.

"Me?" Sebastian asked anxiously.

"Sit." Ominis said, pointing his wand toward the ground around the orb.

Sebastian sighed wearily as he sat in front of the orb, looking down at it as it flickered between them as a Diane and Ominis sat around it as well. He didn't want to talk about this. It hurt to talk about, to remember back to that time those years ago when he was so very alone.

"You said you were afraid of us turning on you." Ominis said softly. "We saw your boggart, and it was us attacking you. Why do you think we'd do that to you? Why would you think Diane wouldn't want to have children with you? You were too surprised." Ominis said quietly.
