Sebastian stared in shock at her. "What?" He said, thinking he must have heard her wrong.

Diane sighed, giving him a wary look as she made a subtle move closer to Ominis. "I think Anne might be pregnant. That's why she's sick. That's also why the medicine isn't working for her." She said carefully.

Ominis was tense, listening to Sebastian as his breathing grew harder.

"She-" Sebastian's eyes turned wild with panic, and he looked to Ominis with a dark glare. "Ominis, move."

"Nope." Ominis said defiantly, despite the dangerous tone Sebastian had.

"I need to talk with Garreth." Sebastian growled angrily, his hackles raising as he took his wand out.

"Hey none of that-" Diane glared at him, not liking that move. She stood in front of Ominis defiantly, her own wand out as well.

"I was worried about us, about you, and I should have been worried ABOUT MY SISTER GETTING KNOCKED UP!" Sebastian yelled angrily, golden sparks flying from his wand with the shout.

Diane gave him a hard look, "she didn't know, Sebastian, she had no idea. Neither did he."

"Oh, he didn't know?" Sebastian laughed wildly. "I somehow doubt that." He snarled.

"She told me about St Mungo's! They didn't know! How could she have known?" Diane yelled, trying to get through his anger as he stormed over to them.

"Move." He growled at her, his face inches from hers.

"No." She growled back just as fiercely. "You need to accept this, and that doesn't count beating your future brother in law up."

His face contorted at that, a mixture of confusion and denial crossing his expression. "Future-"

"You said you accepted it! You said you were fine with them." Ominis added, moving to stand beside Diane. "This is part of it, Sebastian. We're all graduating soon. We're all grown up. It's natural to start the next steps in life."

"But not- we're not graduated yet!" Sebastian yelled angrily. "They didn't even get married yet! Or proposed! What will people think?! I don't want her to get judged by some fucking stranger who doesn't know her!"

"You honestly think Anne cares about what a stranger thinks?" Diane laughed in disbelief. "You know her better than that!"

Sebastian growled angrily, putting a hand on Diane's arm. "Move." He insisted again.

"Let go of me, Sebastian." Diane growled in warning.

Ominis' eyes widened before they flashed with the red glow of his sight, and he stepped forward, looming over Sebastian with a dark look. "Let go." He said in a low, dangerous tone.

Sebastian's eyes turned wide from the look before he released her with a low growl of frustration, starting to pace back and forth like a caged animal. "So what is she going to do, then?!" He yelled.

"Well, tell Garreth, first." Diane put her hands on her hips. The way he had grabbed her had annoyed her. That was a step too far even for him. "Then they'll deal with it themselves."

"She's my sister." Sebastian argued gruffly.

"And it's Garreth's baby." Diane huffed, crossing her arms. "He takes care of Anne, now. Not you. It's his responsibility."

Sebastian paused, remembering the conversation he'd had earlier with Garreth. Damnit.

"He was reckless." Sebastian growled.
