The next day after the Love Room, the trio spent the day recovering from the intense night before. It had been wild as ever, and now that Sebastian didn't have to hold himself back, it had only added a new intensity into the mix.
Diane sat on the couch reading one of her books as Ominis laid against her shoulder, Sebastian leaning his head in her lap as she read for them in the morning sunlight. Sebastian was holding Ominis' hand, occasionally running his thumb over the back of his palm to watch Ominis smile and blush.
"You know," Sebastian said quietly, looking up at them both, "I was thinking, after graduation maybe we should travel somewhere."
"Travel?" Ominis said curiously as Diane smiled happily at the idea.
"That sounds exciting, where would we go?" She asked.
"I was thinking maybe France?" Sebastian smiled warmly. "See the new Eiffel Tower they built that everyone talks about."
"Eat good food." Ominis grinned against Diane'a shoulder.
"That too." Sebastian chuckled. "But I want to see places with you two." He reached up to twirl his fingers in Diane'a curls with his free hand. "I suppose it doesn't even matter where it is. As long as we're all there."
Ominis blushed at that, reaching his hand down to run through Sebastian's hair affectionately. "Such a sweet talker."
"I'm the one that beats people up, you're supposed to be the sweet talker." Sebastian chuckled, but closed his eyes under the gentle touch.
"Oh please, I lost how many times you flirted with me in my first year here." Diane chuckled. "Always sweetheart and darling."
"Turned out well for me, didn't it?" He grinned wryly up to her.
"I suppose it did." She giggled softly.
"You still owe me a duel." He looked up to her lazily.
"Sebastian, we both know where a duel would lead us, and I'm still sore from last night." She chuckled.
"You're sore?" Ominis looked up to her in concern.
"A bit, but I'll be fine in a few days." She answered back softly. "Those amortentia nights are pretty wild."
"So amazing, though." Sebastian smiled with a soft sigh.
He looked up to Diane, running his hand through her curls gently. "You know I love you both, right?" He said gently.
Ominis blushed against her shoulder and smiled happily. "We know, but what's with the sudden change in tone?"
"Just... something Love told me." Sebastian said softly.
"Which was?" Ominis urged.
"Apparently if I don't succeed after this next trial, I could lose you two." He said in a weak voice. "I don't know what I'd do if I lost either of you."
"You won't lose us, Sebastian." Diane scoffed. "As if we'd leave you."
He wasn't quite sure that's what Love had meant. He knew they wouldn't leave voluntarily.
"What did she say the trial was?" Ominis asked quietly.
"She wouldn't say." He said in frustration. "Only that it's sooner than she thought."
Ominis let out a soft hum, now a bit worried too. "All we can do is deal with things as they come."
"Yeah, I just don't like not knowing what it is." Sebastisn grumbled.
"I'm sure it will be fine, Seb." Diane said softly, setting a hand against his chest gently to reassure him.
He smiled and brought his hand to hers on his chest, holding it there as he let out a soft sigh. He sure hoped so.
