Nineteen
"This is the living area." Jordan said, giving Aiden Dane a tour of the training complex. He then led the stocky redhead through the second floor bedrooms and downstairs to the basement.
Darren was observing Maddy and Jade while they sparred, ensuring the match was fair. Watching Jade fight, her long hair in a curly ponytail and dressed in skin-tight yoga leggings and a tank top, Jordan wished he was standing with her, pressed against her and kissing her passionately.
He cleared his throat before turning to Aiden, "This is the basement. We use it to train in." He turned back around and called out to the group before him. "Guys! Come over here!"
Maddy, Jade and Darren made their way over, "Who's this?" Maddy asked, looking at Aiden with interest.
"Hi, I'm Aiden." He introduced himself, extending his hand for them to shake.
"That's Jade and Darren. And I'm Maddy." She introduced them and smiled at him. Jordan saw Aiden grin in return and clapped him on the back, before he rode the elevator up and emerged in the living area.
"That new guy's pretty cute." Said Lela from the dining table.
Jordan smirked, "I wouldn't have thought you'd notice. Your eyes seem to be glued to Mason."
Lela's eyes grew wide and she glanced around herself before speaking in a hushed tone. "Jordan! Not so loud."
Jordan laughed, "It's nothing to be ashamed of, Lee."
"I know that," She answered, "I'm just not sure if Mase feels the same way, that's all." She sighed and placed her chin in her hand, "Sometimes I get the feeling she does. She'll look at me a certain way or say something, but she might not mean anything by it."
Jordan looked at Lela. She seemed so excessively miserable. "Tell her how you feel." He suggested before he got up and headed up to his room.

Jade smiled as she watched Maddy and Aiden interact. Leaving the two together, she rode the elevator up to her room to shower. The hot water on her skin was relaxing, but heat outside made it uncomfortable.
When she was dressed and her long black hair was braided down her back, Jade made her way back down to the living area, where Lela was talking to Mason. She found Jordan sitting on the sofa and watching TV, so she snuck up behind him and placed her hands over his eyes.
She felt him grin as he gently removed her hands and tipped his head back to look at her. She bent over and kissed him. She squealed when he picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. "Jordan!" She screamed, "Put me down!"
Jordan ran into the elevator and pushed the roof button, waiting until the doors closed before he set Jade on the floor again. "You'll like this." He told her.
When the elevator doors opened, Jade stepped out onto the roof of the training complex. It was after eight o'clock by now and the sun was nearly set. Jade moved to the edge of the roof, sat down and stared up at the sky.
When the last sliver of gleaming sunlight finally disappeared behind the horizon, the sight that took its place was magnificent. The sky was still rather light, but Jade could see the stars above as clearly as if they were right before her. When she felt Jordan sit down beside her and take her hand, she smiled, turned to him and said, "I love you, Jordan."
