~ 8 years later

~ Ski's POV (Ski is 25 years old and Toby is 26 years old)

"Babe have you seen my tie" Toby yelled for me to hear in the living room. I look up from my veterinary book, Toby was walking into the living room.

He had on a long sleeved button up shirt, black slack pants, and dress shoes. "It's hung up in the closet" I get up off the couch and walk past him "I already looked in there it wasn't hung up" he follows behind me.

I open our closet door. I look between the clothes and found his ties. I take one and held it front of him. He smiles "thank you" he kisses my forehead.

"I'm so excited and nervous to finally bring home our new baby" he puts his tie on, "me too" I squeal.

Toby and I got married 5 years ago in a church with all of our friends and family there. The wedding was amazing. We even decided to adopt a baby girl since I can't have any. Today we're going to court to see if we can have her. Her name is Isabelle she's two weeks old.

Zak and Mom got married too, 2 years ago and they had a baby girl named Monica last year. An they kept Gracie the dog.

Bee and Jake are engaged, their wedding day is in two weeks. Bee is so excited she won't shut up about it.

Desmond and Michael are still together. And I'm still friends with them. Since gay marriage is legal in all 50 states they want to get married too.

People these days are getting married.

Bee and I haven't spoken to our father or brother in years.

Anyway, Toby and I leave the house to the court house. Toby gets in the drivers side and I get in the passenger side, I couldn't stop smiling the whole way to the courthouse.

"What if they won't let us take her home" I worried, we walked in and I grabbed Tobias' hand "hey stop that, they will let us take her home. We don't have something against us that's bad for us not to have her" he kissed my left temple.

I take a deep breath to calm my nerves.

We wait to be called to the court office. While we waited my leg wouldn't stop jumping up in down, Toby had to repeatedly tell me to stop and calm down.

When they called us my heart went down to my stomach. "Mr. and Mrs. McClain" the receptionist called. We stood up and I grabbed Toby's hand again.

We walked into the courtroom and the other family was already here. The mother was holding Isabelle in her arms and was staring at us.

We sat in the other side of the room.

The judge explained to us of what the process is and all that. Then finally made his choice.

"Mr. and Mrs. McClain you now have a daughter" I jaw dropped to the floor and I threw myself at Toby I hugged him around the neck and was so happy, "we have a daughter now" he whispered into my ear.

I let go of him and smiled at him from ear to eat and he returned it back. He kissed me lightly and we turned to the family, the mother was walking towards us smiling.

"Congratulations" she said as she handed us the baby. I took the baby and cradled her in my arms, she was fast asleep. And then she handed Toby a diaper bag with all of Isabelle's information; birth certificate, shots, etc.. Isabelle was wearing this cute little pink dress with pink mittens on her hands so she wouldn't scratch herself.

"Let's go home" I whispered to Isabelle. Toby and I walk out of the courtroom and into the lobby.

We walk outside to the car. I put Isabelle in her car seat and buckled her in, I shut the door softly and got in the front seat. Tobias started the car up "we have a daughter now" I whispered loudly with happiness.
