Chapter 13

~Ski's P.O.V.

We arrive at the hospital, the Paramedics rushed him in. I heard one of them say he needs stitches.

Doctors took over and rushed him to the E.R. Jake came in right after they took Desmond. Bee comes up to me and hugs me tight.

"They said that Jake is going to be okay. What about Desmond" she wipes some tears off of her cheeks "They took him to the E.R. Paramedics say he needs stitches" I sit in a chair in the waiting room.

Couple minutes later Zak walks in the waiting room, "you guys okay?" He hugged us both "yea" I said sitting back down "what about the boys" he sits down and looks at Bee.

"They said Jake is going be okay, but Desmond is going to need stitches" she sits down next me. "I'm really sorry for what happened to all of you. This is all my fault, I shouldn't have left you guys home" he said apologetic "no it's not. You never knew it was going to happen, don't blame yourself." I said rubbing his back.

From the corner of my eye I saw Desmond's parents walking in-Mr. and Mrs. Bower. They looked like they were looking for someone. Bee and I stood up slowly, the parents look at us.

The mom walks up to us, she slaps both of us. I gasp and hold my face, Zak grabs us both and cover our face in his chest. "Why did you do that" he said yelling. I pull away from Zak "you did this to my son" she said to me with tears in her eyes.

I slap the mother back "Ski!" Zak said. The dad covers her face in his chest "don't hit my wife" the dad yelled "I get beat at home enough. I don't need my own friend's mom hitting me. I'm f*cking tired of it and if anybody strikes me again I'm going to fight back. And if you hurt me enough to put me in the hospital, you'll be 6 feet under" I said angry.

Bee slaps the mother too "Bee!" Zak said "what the f*ck" the dad said "that's for hitting me too, and yea I'm doing the same thing Ski's doing. Don't HIT me again." She said angry too.

I give the parents and evil death glare and walked away, Bee followed me. We walk down the hallway angry "Bee, Ski wait" Zak said trying to catch up "wait up you guys" he grabs my arm. "Why did you guys do that for" he said letting go of my arm "because we're getting f*cking tired of getting beat every f*cking time. That sh*t is tiring, having to get beat for something stupid" I was getting pissed "didn't you hear us back there, telling Mrs. Bower" Bee said pointing behind us.

"Yes I did hear you, but it's something else why you did that" he said "you want to know why we did that, its because she hit us first, if I don't fight back I'm going to become like my Mom. She doesn't fight back, now she's at home like a prisoner. She can't even leave the house, only for work and grocery shopping, and we don't want to become like that." I said sitting on a near by chair.

"That's why we want to fight back" Bee said walking to my side. "Your Mom can't leave your Dad" he sits next me "she can't 'cause if he found out he'll kill her. He didn't say that he would, but you can tell" I said looking at him.

"But we can help her leave him without Dad knowing" Bee said happy. "And how is that" I said "so you got a plan" Zak said standing up.

"Yes. Me and Ski can tell Mom we're out of food, we go shopping for food then she bumps into you. We get all excited and say who you are and everything and then you guys become friends. She'll fall for you then she leaves our Dad for good, while he's at work. He'll never know because Daniel will be in jail." Bee smiles at both of us.

"Sounds good to me" Zak said "yea that is a good plan" I said standing up "lets go to the cafeteria and eat" Zak said "okay" we said.

We walk to the cafeteria.
