~ Ski's P.O.V.

I take my geometry book out of my locker "I can't believe they heard us" Desmond said leaning up against a locker next to mine "me too" I shut my locker door and lock it. "What do you want to do after school today" he asked wrapping an arm over my shoulders "I don't know, I really don't want to do anything" I look up at him.

"Okay, we can do homework at Zak's house then I'll head back home to sleep" he said kissing my forehead.

"I'll see you later babe I gotta go to the bathroom" I said "okay" he unwraps his arm from around my shoulders, I give him a kiss then head towards the bathroom. I go into a stall. I use the toilet then I see shoes in front of my stall door.

A girls shoes. "This stall is occupied" I said but the shoes didn't move. I flush the toilet and the shoes back up away from the door. I open the door and reveals Elizabeth, I walk passed her and washed my hands. "What do you want" I look at her through the mirror. She had a black eye and a swollen lip and a bruise on her cheek bone.

"I said I was going to get you back didn't I" she smirked "yeah so" I can tell my response pissed her off "what you want to fight right now in the bathroom before class starts. That would be a dumb move on your part" I said shrugging my shoulders.

"Okay then after your volleyball practice, at the park down the street" she said smirking "you just want to get your ass kicked don't you" I shook my head and smiled.

I leave her in the bathroom. The school bell rings for classes to start. I walk to my first period, English. Mrs. Hernandez was a very nice teacher but do not get on her bad side that nice look is a cover. We were doing a career unit for sophomores since we're sixteen and we can get jobs.

We have to make résumés, apply for jobs, make a cover letter, and do interviews.

~ Lunch (Third Period)

I told Bee, Jake, and Dez about what happened in the restroom with Elizabeth.

"So you're going to go fight her at the park" Desmond said beside me "yeah I'm going to fight her, I'm not going to back down from a stank ass bitch like her. Plus I'm still not letting her get away from what she did yesterday" I said.

We finish our lunch. One of Desmond's friend's comes to our table, I think his name was Michael from the party. He was kind of cute to be honest. "Dude can I speak with you real quick" he had an Australian accent Desmond nods his head "yeah" they leave the table and go outside.

Michael rubs the back of his neck, and talks to him. I wish I can read lips. Desmond's eyes go big, Michael looks at him waiting for a response, Desmond rubs the back of his neck. Desmond meets my eyes "what do you think they are saying" I asked Jake and Bee.

"Maybe it's about our projects in biology" Jake said. That could be it since we need partners to make a presentation about a certain disorder or disease. "Yeah okay" I said continuing to look at them.

Desmond talks to him, and Michael responds to him. They both smile at each other.

They come back in "we're going to go work on our biology thing in the library... I'll see you later baby at practice" he kisses the top of my head and walks out of the cafeteria.

"I wonder what that was about" Bee said aloud "I don't know" Jake said. What was the problem with their project?

~ After School (Practice)

Desmond came kind of late to practice. He jogs to me, Bee, and Jake. "Sorry Michael and I had a question for Ms. Henry" he looked kind of distraught and confused, we pass him the ball "what's wrong Dez" Bee asked "nothing" he answered "what disability or disease are you doing" I asked bumping the ball to Bee "we're doing cri-du-chat disease" he said.
