Chapter 9

~Bee's P.O.V.

I wake up this morning and Ski wasn't in bed with me. I look downstairs she wasn't there, I look in Zak's room and she was laying in bed with him. I was speechless I just stood there with my mouth open "Ski, Ski wake up" I said with my mouth still open.

~Ski's P.O.V.

"Ski, Ski wake up" I heard Bee's voice. I open my eyes, I wasn't laying in the guest room. I was laying in Zak's bed. My legs were wrapped around Zak's left leg and I was laying on his left arm.

I raise up quick, I look at Bee her mouth was wide open "what happened" I looked at Bee she wasn't saying anything. I look at Zak he was sleeping peacefully I look under the covers and he wasn't wearing short's but only his boxers.

Bee leaves the room. I put my hand on Zak's chest, he was warm and I can feel his heart beating. "Zak, wake up Zak" I shake him gently on the chest "wake up Zak, what happened last night" I said shaking him a little harder. He still wasn't waking up, I plug his nose.

He gasps for air and coughs "why did you do that" he said covering his eyes with his hands "what am I doing in here" I said looking at him. He uncovered his face and rose up next to me,

"You slept walked last night, saying can you clean your room, I forgot you sleep walk because I was having a conversation with you. I told you to go to bed but you crawled in my bed right here on the right hand side of the bed, I tried waking you but you didn't get up so I left you to sleep." He was looking at me the whole time while telling me this.

"I'm sorry for climbing in bed with you" I said covering my face "it's okay Ski" he was rubbing my back "Bee came in here" I uncovered my eyes "she did what did she say" he said laying back down "she came in here to wake me up. Her mouth was wide open" I said chuckling to the memory of her expression.

He chuckled, "do I have to go to school today? 'Cause I don't feel like it" I said scooting closer to him "why don't you feel like it" he raises up to face me "I don't know why I don't want to, but we're not doing anything at school. If we are doing something I can make up for it" I said hoping we can stay home... Did I say home I mean stay in his house.

"I guess you can. But later I have to leave somewhere but I'll be back" he said.

I really appreciate the way he's treating us. Even though he didn't know us well. I get out of his bed and walk toward the bedroom door. I turn around and run to his bed and jump on it and gave Zak a hug. "Thank you Zak, for helping us out, I don't think no one would have done the same thing what you did" I said still hugging him.

He was hugging me back. "You're welcome Ski. I'm sure someone would have done the same thing" he kissed the top of my head, which made me cry. Not of sadness but with joy and happiness. I let go of the hug and wiped my tears away "why are you crying" he wiped at ear away from my cheek.

"It's because I'm happy" I said laughing at the same time I'm wiping tears away "okay that's good" he said smiling at me.

"Thank you again" I said walking out of his bedroom.

I walk in the guest room where Bee was "we're not going to school today" I said looking for my toothbrush in my bag "we're not" she said.

I walk out of the room into the bathroom down the hall "no" I said wetting my toothbrush and putting toothpaste on my toothbrush. "Good 'cause I didn't want to go today" I heard Bee saying laying back down.

I rinse my mouth out, I wash my mouth with mouthwash then went back to the guest room. I look at Bee on the bed and she was sleep again. I walk downstairs into the kitchen, I make myself a bowl of cereal. It takes me awhile to make it because I didn't know where things were.

I start eating my cereal when I hear foot steps come downstairs, I look at who it was and it was Zak in shorts with no shirt. "Hey what you eatin" he said sitting at the table with me "cereal" I said putting a spoonful of it in my mouth "what kind?" He said "corn pops" I with a mouth full.

"Is it good" he gets up "Naww, it's nasty it taste like dirt" I said sarcastically "then why are you eating it" he crossed his arms "I was being sarcastic" I said looking up at him "and I was being a smart a**" he smiles at me.

"Bee went back to bed" he poured himself a bowl of cereal "yea she did" I said.

He comes and sits next to me at the table, "what did I say when I slept walked in your room" I said turning around to face him.

"You said can I clean my room? I said when you go home next week, but you kept saying I want to clean. You weren't even finishing your sentences either, so I told you to go to bed but you crawled into my bed and fell asleep. I tried waking you up but you didn't. So I left you alone, I covered you up. I watched TV for a little bit then I turned off the TV and fell asleep under the covers with you" he was eating at the same time he was telling me the story.

"Okay now I know what happened" I said getting up to put my bowl in the sink. "Where you going" he turned around in his chair to look at me "upstairs to get my phone" I look back at him "okay" he turns back around.

~Zak's P.O.V.

Ski went upstairs to get her phone, and I continue eating my cereal. It kinda felt good when someone was sleeping in my bed with me, it's been awhile.

I finish my cereal and put it in the sink. I go in the living room and turn on the TV to the news.

I get up and walk to the stairs. I go to my room to get my phone, I go back down to the living room. I see Ski sitting on the love seat on her phone. She was sitting criss-cross-applesauce. I lay down on the sofa watching TV.

"You stay in a deep sleep you know that Zak" I look at her confused and said "I do."

"Yea you do. 'Cause when Bee woke me up I was confused at first but I tried waking you up and you didn't a couple of times so I plug your nose, then you finally wake up" I cross my arms listening to her and said "okay."

I look at my phone and it was 7:23AM I had to be some where at 1:30PM. I go on Twitter and seen that I had a lot of comments and retweets on the tweet I did about Ski. Some were saying she's lucky and wish they were her. Others were saying bad things about her but I'm not going to say. Good thing it's on my tweet and not hers.

"Ski what is your Twitter name" I said looking at her "it's @Lvin_ZakBagans, but Lovin is spelled L-V-I-N. why" she looked at me confused "nothing just wondering" I smiled.

I tweeted "Sitting with @Lvin_ZakBagans watching the news" I put my phone down and watch TV again. Ski's phone vibrated and made a xylophone sound, she picked it up and unlocked her phone.

She smiled, she typed something then put it back down. Then my phone lid up it said "@Lvin_ZakBagans: Sitting with @Zak_Bagans watching the news" I chuckled then favorited and retweeted it.

I watched the news while Ski's on her phone. From the corner of my eye I saw Ski wiping tears off her cheeks. I look at her and say "what's the matter Ski? Why are you crying" she looks at me with red eyes and tears in them and said "people are so mean" "come here, what did they say" she gets off the love seat and walks to me. She gets on top of me and lays her head on my chest. She wasn't breathing regular.

I stroked her hair, she told me what they said. "Shh it's okay. They're just jealous of you" I said trying to calm her crying.

She was calming down, and was breathing regular again. After when she calmed down I think she fell asleep on me.

I played with her hair because it felt so silky and soft.

After awhile I started dozzying off to sleep.
