As he yawned and got up from his bed, he couldn't help but feel…anxious. Everything was going a bit too well for him lately.

Things around Yokohama have been oddly quiet, and their work slowed down to the usual, they still had a shit ton of work to do, don't get him wrong. But they also had enough free time for Dazai to sync up all three of their free days for today.

Him, Dazai and Chuuya entered this…odd relationship a bit ago, by now. And things were moving slow. He was happy that they were, in all honesty things were going at the pace he wanted them to.

The furthest they went were make-out sessions on the couch, hand holding and cuddling. All to insure they were all comfortable with that, before moving on to any other step.

But today, well, since they had synchronized their free day, they are going to go on a date.

From what he's heard from Dazai, Chuuya was the one to plan and recommend it. They were actually planning on not telling Nakajima at all but it was all a slip of the tongue when Dazai ended up asking him if he liked Italian or French food more.

He felt oddly giddy about the fact that the two wanted to surprise them.

So, he decided to get up early. Unlike Dazai, who's probably passed out in his office.

Dazai truly never rested, the tiger thought with a frown. He might act like a lazy bastard, but he was far from. Dazai was the type of person to work from home even on his days off. He was the type of person to go over records, go over mission reports from more than six hundred employees every night, was the type of person to be drunk off his darned arse yet still be able to read through around two hundred words per ten minutes.

Was the type of person, who once back from work, would just immediately throw himself into more of it. And he supposed that the fact that today wasn't going to be like that was what made him happy. The fact that Atsushi, Chuuya and him would go out and have a nice little dinner, or perhaps a walk, hell, even just sit back at home and order something, chilling together, made him excited.

The boy was mostly happy because he would get the brunet out of the damned office for at the very least a day.

Although….he couldn't deny the tingle of excitement over being spoiled.

In all honesty, he disliked people spending on him. He felt like he needed to return the favour. But, right now…he's not too opposed to it. He is even, dare he say, looking forward to the date.

He had no idea why, but the two always made him get out of his comfort zone, allow things to happen that he never would before, and even made his past not bother him as much.

In a way, he felt like they were doing a lot for him, and he felt like…he was helping them too, in a way. Because Dazai has been a lot more playful than before. And there hasn't been a suicide attempt from him ever since the day they met. Granted, suicidal jokes and comments were often made, but he supposed those were to their boss what trauma jokes were to him.

An unhealthy coping mechanism, belittling yourself and your trauma to try and make it seem funny, less serious to yourself.

And the redhead, well, Chuuya has been a lot less stressed, from what he's personally noticed. He also seemed to be a lot more relaxed than before, which did surprise him at first.

The boy was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't even hear Dazai come into his room, only felt his weight dip on his bed, making him look towards the man, who just got out of the shower, by his dripping wet hair and lack of his usual coat.

"Atsushi-kun, you didn't even come to say good morning. I'm really disappointed in how you ignore your lovers!" The man scolded, but he knew that those words were just a tease by now. "Dazai-san, aren't you supposed to be sleeping? It's seven in the morning." The boy reminded, instead, as he reached out and fixed the clumsy tied tie, causing the brunet to smile, a bit warmer than before.
